Likely to be used in conjunction with Widows and Redeemers/Panthers in Mixed Black Ops/Recons fleet. Designed to patrol/lurk in friendly territory or gatecamps for ambushes. 40 Cpu, 500 Pgrid left over.
Edit: Any thoughts on improving on this design? I considered 350mm rails for more of a 60km range, and will consider posting a rails/damps version later.

Here's my idea for a longer range support Sin, it'd sit with other Black ops (Mainly Widows and other Sins as before,) but is keyed to damening down slower ships while ECM botes concentrate on primaries, and used when DPS is not needed at a premium.
Not sure what to do with the highslots. Was considering remote reppers/transporters and some logistics drones in the bay.

Same resists as above, 83,000 EHP. Any tank needed comes in the form of remote reps from drones carried by other sins/widows.
Thoughts?

We have the numbers, and while we wont be flying these all the time, some covert fun is in order. Just trying to work out fits that can assist in delivery of DPS or assist in EWAR. (I wish the sin had a damps bonus!)
I do find, however, that it's very hard to get it anywhere close to cap stable with any kind of turret on there, especially with damps on. Thinking I could get away with buffered and Neutrons on the close-up fitting.
So.. Gime some thoughts instead of friggin smileys!

he is showing surprise because tbh those setups are so horrible it is not a far stretch to think this is a troll attempt.
on the very slim chance that this is not a troll ill give you one hint among the 20 or so you need, sustainable tank is not as important as how much you can tank for 45 secs to 1:30 in small gang stuff.
I can't in good conscience give you more advice as this looks to much like a troll :/ Signature locked. Please submit a petition to discuss the matter further. Navigator |

I'll admit that i'm addicted to sustained tanking, however, the plan is to throw enough logistics drones arounf between us, that any DPS coming through the ECM/EWAR barrier at us will be low. Sure, I get a lot of theories in my head, but that's why I come on the forums, to think about ideas with people.
With 4 widow pilots, 4 sin pilots and a spattering of Redeemers and Panthers I can't see too much wrong. The premise of the first, as was outlined is to give DPS, and at a push offer support through drones. (We get problems? I'll put logistics on whatever's being shot to bits)
The second is designed to orbit an area for an ambush, and use it's rails to assist in DPS (regardless of rail DPS crappiness), with it's main asset being the drone bay.
I find fitting Black-Ops to be horrible (save the widow), but what I get is that you think buffer on my first setup would be preferable, just to survive high gank roamers?
It's all theorycraft, so talk sommore. Let's build a better setup.

The idea of a person consumed by the desire for a damp bonused sin made me laugh though. --

Seriously, I love dampeners. While not as effective as they should be (damn ECM proliferation), I found them to be fantastic on my 'razu', They're going to be much less awesome on the Sin though, but the idea is to field 4 sins with identical setups, so 12 damps between 4 or less targets isn't so bad. A non-Damped target isn't going to target out very far with 3+ damps on it, and with Huginns and pilgrims being fielded also, we're not going to have much of a problem holding them down.
Why not use a 'Razu I bet you're wondering? Sin: More DPS potential, especially via drones. Sin: Big and shiny.
*Shrug* I know I could do better with a pack of Razu's and Falcons .ect, but there's been worse ideas.

You can drop the Nos for a Covert Jump Portal and it still fits. Its an expensive enough ship with decent survivability in the right maneuvers, no reason not to fork out the little bit extra to make it even better.
T2 Sentries + Remote Reps for the Redeemers = A BOBS' best friend.

Okay.
First off, you want a cap injector. Ditch the cap recharge junk, it won't help you (as BSes tend to get neuted).
Then you want Large Reps to go on your large ship. And you NEVER want an AB on it.
