Very nice job, good to see a public release of this type of mod and it works :-) is there a possibility of tying in the API authentication with the dev Killboards API mod as well? my reason for asking will be apparent if you follow our forum link. A-C-E FORUM

Hi Johnathan, knowing your work from postracker you might want to look at this thread Esam i used this on a SMF board and it works very well with a lot of functions for corps and alliances, i think this mod has everything in it that we want on the phpBB3 mod thats here. Originally by: Zaiyo Modi I have had some fun/agony setting up a phpBB forum, but eventually I managed to arrange for the custom design I wanted.
Can someone please tell me how this mod is useful? Is it merely a login thing, where people with limited API keys simply enter their codes and one is allowed to log in?
Are there other uses for this mod, or have I mistunderstood it completely?
Ok, once this mod is enabled via admin control panel/registration settings, where you can disable it set it to corp or alliance then type your corp name in it then it only allows members from your corp/alliance to be able to register on your board, during the registration procces they have to submit the exact character name they use in game thier limited API key and user number. If like me you are running the phpBB3 TeamSpeak login mod it saves having to hack a API mod into Teamspeak as it uses the phpBB3 users that are registerd and you are able to set different levels of access via the users and groups control panel in phpBB3 forum ACP. http://www.a-c-e.eu/images/A-C-E-signature.jpg |
