Hi all!
As you know, images are not allowed on this forum with the exception of recruitment threads.
I would like to extend this for Alliance and Corporation press releases as well.
Alliance banners have been used in the past when official statements from certain factions have needed to be made, at times we've allowed them to stay as they add to the faction feel on these forums. Many banners however have been removed due to them stretching the forums, causing the thread to take too long to load, or being poorly linked.
So, for a trial period of 2 weeks, I will allow Alliance & Corporation Press Release banners that conform to the following;
Requirements:
Width: 495 pixels
Height: 100 pixels
Max Size of File: 40kb
- Please keep the design simple and the same for all releases, not a different banner each time!
- I would like the names of Alliance representatives that are sanctioned to make press releases on behalf of their alliance. You may post in this thread.
- Corporation press releases with banners only by your CEO please.
Lets not go nuts with the press releases either, normal discussions do not need a press release unless its information for everyone. I would like this feature to improve the forum for you all but if I get a page of press releases for the sake of it I will pull the plug on the trial early.
If you want to display your banner for me to check if its ok you may provide a linked shortcut here, do not post as an image.
Constructive feedback, and any ideas are much appreciated as we further improve your forum experience. Please also keep an eye on this thread for changes!
