HAHAHA, a 4 hour DT. How can it possibly take that long to restart a computer, LOL. Seriously, they should work on that. Maybe they should upgrade from a 486  . Plus we all know that MS SQL is garbage, use real software and mabe you wont have this probelm. Jeez, i know better than ccp and im 12.

well such is the nature of IT.
Things go wrong, its not CCP's 'fault', or anyones for that matter. things go wrong, things break, thats just life. 5 hours isnt a big deal, they posted on the main site telling us what was wrong, keeping us informed.
I would say that CCP handled this well ...

Hmm... you're 12, so obviously you have a loads of practical industry experience with SQL  . Apart from probably being 'the' best product the evil microsoft have released (apart from trusty old MS-DOS).
Anyway, shouldn't you be in bed at this time or hanging around parks drinking cider or stealing cars?!  |

Dude get a life. they are not restarting a "computer". they have a had a problem with the server and are working on it.
if they let u into the game, which would probably be impossible atm, and it was screwed up and lagging like hell you would still whine, so stfu and give them time to fix it k? thxbye

I can't decide whats worse...
The trolls in this topic, the a-holes that basically jumped anyone/thing that even mentioned the server being down, or the a-hole methods some of the mods in the irc channel use to keep inquiries about the server non-existant...
CCP did what they could and had to do. The server melted down, **** happens, they got the site up and running asap and posted a msg about the server meltdown. Thats all they could do really...
The job of the person that was supposed to keep people informend and non-flamatory, which should be filled by a friendly and patient CS person was however filled by an annoying inflamatory bugger, with a mission to make you loose your temper.
Good job CS...i hope they get those jobdescriptions which are now transelated from ancient chinese, out to you guys ASAP. Maybe this time you'll be able to read it and know what your supposed to be doing.
PS: This is not directed at EVERY person belonging to the CS team. This is directed at CS as a service...and the way some of the CS team interpret 'service'.

Personally the real shock is that people who keep complaining about a poor level of service (that for them is so bad that they are going to quit) are still here complaining about that level of service.
