If I run a mission, then complete it (hand it in) - does the deadspace area still exist? If I created a BM to the first entry point of the deadspace, then could I simply warp back to that BM - then enter the acceleration gate again? or is going to stop me becasue ive completed the quest?
just wondering what order people do things with 1 rat killer ship and then a separate salvager ship (Im looking at this with a Raven and a Drake).
thanks Be seeing you.... |

You would warp to where the bookmark was created, but there would not be any acceleration gates.
In such cases, you would have to bookmark each pocket before turning in the mission. |

Oh! poor cat! Be careful, it'll scratch the hell out of you if you try to plug those things to it... just a thermometer freaks them out! ----

I'm reasonably certain they changed something, and that the acceleration gates now remain (prolly for a limited period) after a missions is complete.

I just placed several tractors on my cat. She's been collecting all the metal in the house now. Shut the door to my room so she can't get near the computer but that may be the least of her worries if she gets near that bag of wood nails.

I am reasonably certain that you are talking out your arse here... I spent this weekend running missions with an alt following me salvaging and in every instance when the alt was in the deadspace still salvaging when I turned in the mission everything dissapears. It has always been like this and has not changed. <-------------------------------------------------> "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." -Albert Einstein |

I am reasonably certain that I might be talking out of my arse, and in the past what was stated above by someone was always the case, but I remember thinking at the time that what was going on was different. I'll do a few later and see what happens.

Yep, and if you want to make it easier on yourself, just sit in one spot and have the ships come to you. Then use /deathblossom. Easy salvage. _______________________________________ This sig took me 10 seconds to make. =p |

This has been changed. I salvage with my alt while i turn in the mission every thing is still there unless alt leaves and comes back to a bookmark then everything is gone.

I too have recently had missions stick around after being turned-in. Seems to be that it doesn't de-spawn until everyone leaves the area. Not sure if this is consistent. ----- I'm a collector! Want to trade? See my Collection List and contact me. |

This has been true for as long as I can remember. We were refering to solo missioning I believe. If you have an alt or another pilot just sit where the cans are, after mish is turned in, cans are there, everything else disappears (or should). _______________________________________ This sig took me 10 seconds to make. =p |

The Hurricane is the best salvager in the game.

leave an alt in the deadspace or BM a wreck in all rooms, both work fine (unless someone ninja salvages your mission ) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pinky: Gee, Brain. What are we going to do tonight?

My Corpmate uses this as well, expensive Salvager but worth it Just wish CCP would 'Invent' a Salvager class of ship, no offensive weapons, simply Salvage abilities (for use for Salvage and Hacking)

Indeed. I first noted this when warping into a handed in mission in my Orca salvager (works nice) and discovering that I was faced with a slowboat trip of 30+k to the gate to enter the 2nd room, in an Orca....!
Thats something you notice...

Lately (at least in some mission) all the scenery end even the surviving enemy ship persist until the last palyer leave the mission space.
I have lost a (badly) fitted ship helping a new player complete Recon 1 of 3. As he was turning in the mission I didn't care to manage aggro on even get some traversal, so when I realized the ships weren't despawning and warped away I had too much damage, bumped in some scenery and puff, minus one ship .
