Dirk Magnum Royal Hiigaran Navy SCUM.	Posted - 2009.04.06 19:22:00 - [5] From my experience the faction ship is not necessarily the thing at the top of the primary list unless it's a battleship. Just be mindful of the number and types of other ships in your gang when you use it, because if everyone is in a cruiser you'll get singled out for sure if you get tangled up with a rival PvP gang. If you fly it solo looking for lone targets in underpopulated systems then people may run from you based solely on the fact that they have no idea what the Phantasm class actually is and what it can do. I've been in this situation with a friggin Gila, which is probably the least desirable faction cruiser for solo work (except for the Ashimmu), so you'll probably encounter this as well eventually if you take it out enough times. Check the fitting forum to get an idea of how to equip it. IIRC there are very good all out gank setups as well as very strong tank fits for this class. I've seen it compared to the Zealot but I have no opinion on that myself since I don't fly either.
ebonyivory	Posted - 2009.04.06 19:29:00 - [6] Please note that phantasms are usually flown by real pros who are basically masters in the art of piracy.... however there is one exception and that exception....is shigsy shigsy is the noobiest pirate in the whole of eve history....it may be because he often walks in the shadow of legendary pilot death4free but nonetheless shigsy is without a doubt terrible and should probably just perma control q from eve after giving his stuff to me and or donate it to death4free cause hes so awesome

I want one for a station ornament. Production costs are trifling, the only control on market price is availability of BPC's and there is a vey carefully staged influx of those onto the market.
