Originally by: Oveur Lots of EVE celebs hang out there, smacktalking more than would be considered healthy, even for a CA local channel, but just on a more friendly note
Silly me, here I actually thought people were supposed to use the EVE client to play the game rather than hide in IRC safe spots...
My mistake.

May I recommend that anyone new to IRC takes a moment to consider some basic security measures before logging onto any IRC server.
There's a nice short guide at http://www.ircbeginner.com/ircinfo/security.html which should cover the basics. By default IRC clients reveal your IP address when you log onto a server and there are a number of easy exploits that take advantage of IRC clients.
Play safe, have fun |

The only thing that sux more than not being able to play EVE at work, is having most of the irc ports blocked too!

[23:28] <Ak-Gara> STUFF. [23:28] <Iorm> NO! [23:29] <Iorm> say NO to stuff! [23:29] <Ak-Gara> ...some stuff? [23:29] <Ak-Gara> i like stuff :(
This is the kind of witty, *****ling dialogue you can expect if you hang around stratics with us!
Actually, this was the cleanest and least likely to be censored quote i could find all day. But you get the idea!
Vote #1 for Stratics! Stratics 4 teh win!
