the vargur wich is an extreme expensive upgraded t2 battleship is the only ship in his class wich has not enoug energygrid to fit simple large longrange weapons without support mods
Vargur relaesed over a year ago but the dev team doesnt cares.....

CCP specifically said they don't want Vargur to be a sniper ship
But even so, Vargur is the worst Marauder. It got almost none of the attributes necessary for successful AC boat - speed, agility, fast lock
Just the web bonus alone makes Kronos and Paladin way ahead of Vargur as far as usefulness goes.

CCP has thought and still thinks it's fine since its first appearance on sisi. They were and are wrong.
Vargur is sub-par, they won't concede that to be true, it won't change.
End of story.

Yeah, it's pretty much the same as the pest. It's a workable ship, but can't compete with it's other race equivalents

It would be interesting to see some vargur figures from Dr. Eyog imo;
Things like number produced per month as compared with the tempest and other bs's T1 and 2, general useage (missions etc), number of people that have trained the skills for it or have the pre-reqs but have never bought/flown one as compared with the other races of marauder; vargur manufacturing and sale prices as compared with the others; number of people capable of using the vargur that do missions yet use a different ship. You get the general idea.
Maybe some numbers will show that the players overall consider it to be a waste of time, money and skills CCP might stop saying it's fine.
In fact, I'd expect you have similar statistics worked out for all the so-called crap/pre-nerfed/underused ships (if you don't you probably should), such figures would tell you more than a few forum whiners ever could.

Vargur cant snipe because no matter how hard you try Arties dont have the range. Even so, they should at least be able to fit a full rack of the highest tier arties unimpeded.
