First of i must state that i am what some people would call a noob ,I am new to this game with only 1.2 mill skill points , EVE is a great many things all in all its a crazy, wired almost real life experience , to underline the wast amount of things you can do in this game I will tell you how i became a Billionaire in less then 4 weeks from 5k isk to 10 billion and how a dream came true .
I started off playing like any other eve player did made my char did the tutorial , ran missions etc. the first week i got up to 5 mill which was the world for me, but one thing came to the other and i did noobisch things lost isk there and and got blown to bits a few times , so I was down to 1 mill and had hit the hard reality that this game was not just some walk in the park ball game, no sir this was going to be really hard !!!!
So I started reading in the forums and i stumbled over a thread called Eve online poker and i was like hey I like poker I'm good at it maybe i can make a few mill , my wallet was back up to about 5 mill so I Deposited 3 mill I made 300 mill the first day and was totally blown away of the enormous amount of isk that I made , and I knew that I could make more and I did after some up's and downs I hit the 2 billion mark , I felt like I could take on the world , I was king, none would stop me all would be mine and it was, 6 hours later I was up to 10 billion and i reached the breaking point , i was shocked at what I had become I was a poker monster .

We love to hear stories from our players and do encurge them to post. But this guys story is almost unbelivable. Anything can and does happen at EOH poker. Grats to you Soulrader and see you at the tables.

sorry to put a damper on your dream run by winning that 4bil off you last night =P
awesome work though. make sure some of the isk gets used for awesome stuff in eve, not just poker.

its ok i won the 4 bill back in heads up against some other people so my dream is still alive! oh and i bought this 50 mill skill char from the isk ;p.
i think thats a better start than with 1 mill .

Doesn't this however require you to be at least a bit good playing poker? Coz I could deposit 100B but I probably would end up be donated an Ibis to start over coz I suck at poker

Poker is what eve is about... have a few corp 'buds' that run poker tables. There pvp is like not improving or anything. AKA stop playing start fighting :)

This is all bs. First off, what do people want to hear? Stories about people joining a satellite and then win WSOP, which is what Soulreader basically says. 2bn is alot to some and less to others.
I want to warn other players for these pokerclients, yes WARN you. CCP does NOT have any insight in the code whatsoever.
Yes i am a gruntled player but ive played poker for 6 years online and the weird hands ive seen at highstakes table here is to weird to not tell about....

I'm just updating that I have hit the 20 bill mark .
And btw yes you see more crazy hands in online poker but that is only because you see 8 x more hands than in real-life poker.
please don't make this thread a spelling war , we are all players from around the world and you cant expect us to all be 100% in english , that would be very arrogant .
and yet again this is not an advent I'm just stating my story, yes people did have to lose for me to win this much isk so just because you play does not mean you will win .

Gotta say, this post made me look into EOH Poker. After reading multiple forum threads (and recognizing some of the names behind it and who play using it (Selene, Kil2, etc)) I gave it a go.
Ended up losing 200 mil pretty sharpish until I found my feet (and sold some stuff!) and got back in the poker groove. Think i'm up a few hundred mil now but I never play more than 54/105 DTs. You win some, you lose some.
If nothing else it's nice to have some way of making isk while sitting cloaked waiting for the 50 man bubble camp to leave
