Hello ! Two days ago when I logged on after the usualy downtime I discovered that all my BM folders were gone but all the BMs were still there? Some I'm not even sure I recognize. I have had to place them all in "In Work " folders until I can sort them out. Any ideas on how this happened ?
Thanks.

Bookmarks themselves are stored in CCP's database.
The folders you put BM into are stored locally in your Cache folder. Clear out the Cache folder and what you described happens. If you have a lot of bookmarks it can be a real nightmare getting them all sorted again.

OMG it is a real nightmare putting them all back in the right places again
Whenever you delete your cache folder, just keep the settings folder alive and all will be good... maybe even keeping a backup of it somewhere else for those "just incase" time _________________________________________

i label all of mine.. 1 run is A01-A25.. the run in the reverse direction is B01-B25. basically each folder gets a unique serial, so if the folders crash, or i play on someone elses pc, its 5 minutes of work to redo the folders.

I had the opposite bug once. The folders were there, but the bookmarks were not
After panicing a little I tried relogging, and that worked

Next time, if it wasn't you that deleted the folder in your eve-directory, you could have tried to just log out and back in, usually does the trick. ___________________________ Chicks dig Brutor's |
