Just got a 22 inch monitor but it appears eve does not run well or at all in the larger resolutions.
Anyone know a way of forceing it larger or simply getting 1600 x 1050 in wide screen to look half decent |

I have a 22 inch monitor, running at the same resolution, I have no problems at all.
Unless you're referring to the jaggy edges, those are working as intended.

If your moniter supports 1650*1000 it might not be its native resolution and as such, look quite bad.
I'm guessing you are reffering to things like uncrisp text, and other such things? If so, lookup your moniter on the net and do some searching as it its native resolution. Also, i've heard that some moniters perform badly when they operate on a VGA port (which you could be doing). If it has a DVI port, use that, if not, we'll never know.
Disclaimer, i could be wrong in absolutely everything i just said. But i have a 20inch LCD tv i've converted into my second moniter, it runs 1600*1200 but it has terrible quality as its NATIVE resolution is 1400*960 or something.

QFT. Looks even better when you force FSAA and HDR.

Edited by: OffBeaT on 11/04/2009 19:24:25 you need to set in your video card settings in your flat panel scaling to use scaling!
your video card settings and windows are conflicting!

22inch right here, 1680x1050 res, no problems. You're doing it wrong and/or your monitor sucks.
