My main fly's a Hulk, decent skills in Exploration (10mil+ SP). Alt is about a week out of flying an Orca. Still consider myself a nOoB, I am unsure or reluctant of joining a player Corp due to the horror stories of this said person being at there most vulnerable and being taken advantage of.
I and Alt are Caldari, my refining skills and tax thru mission running means I loose nothing, hoping I can find something simular in familiar space. Looking to join a Corp that has a solid PST time (GST -8??) zone with members able to answer questions and help out with tips/direction.
I am 43yrs old, been there done that syndrome. Playing MMO's since the definition. I am as loyal as it gets, and would prefer to hang with a Corp before the commitment due to I HATE quiting anything. If its not a good fit for either I certainly dont hold it against anybody, it happens and I understand.
I do have a RL friend, known each other since around 10yrs old, that I am sure will follow if I find something. Roughly around the same SP's I am. Any questions please feel free to ask here or eve mail this "Forum" toon that I will check daily.

you might like to consider us. Dsdn Dream of Desolation is a new corp. set up by 4 vets 2003-2006. We aim to create a corp, which is unique. We presently operate in 0.0, low sec and empire where we undertake pvp, pve, missions, mining, industry exploration and manufacturing.
We are presently looking for skilled industrialists to join our corp. and move that side of the business along. As a member of our industrial wing you will not be expected to fight if you dont want to but a certain amount of corp. participation will be expected usually 2-3 hours per week. Apart from that what you earn is what you keep.
We presently have a membership of 30 made up of 70m SP to new guy players and are looking for more. We have a number of newer players we are presently training and I can provide refs from them if required that we train and treat them properly.
We have Aussie, US and Asian players and are looking for more who play 24/7 . But i wont lie predominently we are a euro time zoned. As to age our average age is prob 35 although i and some others are in our 40;s
Asset wise We have a pos station in high sec and 1 in 0.0 as well. we also have 4 differant classes of capital ships and also have logistic back up.

New Eden Regimental Navy is looking for a few good pilots to come join us in high sec operations.
Currently we run missions and do mining operations out of the Badi area and are looking to head low sec in 4-6 months at most.
Corp offers Orca supported mining ops, pay system for miners/haulers, support for missioner in the way of fleets and modules.
We also have an active alliance known as the Rebel Alliance of New Eden (RANE) and a corp/alliance website located here: NERN Portal which contains our corp pay system for miners, forums, and teamspeak server information, additionally we have private wiki and a live news feed for corp/alliance events.
Here is a little Q&A:
 Where is your HQ, and which systems do you usually mine in?
We are currently working out the Badi area out in Khanid region; we have corp offices located in Ashi as the office prices in Badi got really stupid.
How long are your ops, and about how much m3 do you mine per op?
Op length with vary depending on how people feel. As an orca pilot too it gets really boring sitting there providing bonus' and just pulling cans in. But average op length is 4 hrs.
How do you distribute earnings after an op is over, particularly if I was using an orca?
If you noticed on the homepage there is a link there called mining. This takes you to an application that is known as mining buddy. This application allows for an even distribution of the ore obtained during a give corp op. Your portion of earnings is determined by the amount of time in the operation and the type of ship that you are in to provide a weighted payout as a way to encourage people to get into better miners, Orca is weighted the same as a mining barge at this point which means you are getting 50% more then someone say mining in a frigate.
Mining buddy works off of raw ore as well to give the corp a little better profit margin.
Ore prices are set by the CEO's of the alliance and are usually 25% below the highest sale order on the market so that selling us raw ore is worth it. Additionally we have an invoicing system that has been setup to allow miners who are doing work on there own a way to sell to the corp.
Do you manufacture at all or are the minerals just sold directly to stations?
We are getting ready to jump into production; we currently have a standing order with an alliance corp for a certain amount of minerals per week. This helps to give us a steady income as well as items up on the market.
Do you do any mission running?
We do run missions, we are trying to get our Khanid standings up high enough to allow use to do a high sec pos. We have a small wing of strict missioners at this point that like to fleet up and go pew pew, but all members will run missions. Cause let's be honest it gets really old mining all the damned time.
How old is the corp and do you think it will be around for a while? Most of the mining corps I've joined closed almost instantly, or within a month. :(
New Eden Regimental Navy is over a year old. The leadership staff is too stubborn to give it up. At one point we had three active members but maintained and started profiting. Now we are seeking to grow again in a controlled fashion getting everyone to know each other prior to bringing in a bunch of new people.
Do you mine in wormholes, hidden belts or low sec, or do you plan on doing it eventually?
We will mine anything we can. We are currently looking into gaining some low sec access. We just did a Alliance op to wormholes for salvage purposes and would love to get someone that is good at scanning hidden belts out again.
Additionally we try to listen to what our people suggest. If you see something that you think needs to be fixed we are more then happy to address the issue with you to make our corp stronger.

New corporation!
It's in its startup fase, but we do mining, missions and are planning exploring ops. We have no minimum SP required so if you like the following txt apply for a trial-membership.
*New EVE-players will get support and material (frigates, ammo, equipment, and mining equipment).
*Beginning industrialist wil get access to (basic) BPO's.
Many coporations expect you to be online an x amount of hours or to participate in a mining/misson ops. We donĘt want that!
We are a corp that gives all members the freedom to do their own thing but has the resources and people to organise a mining or exploration ops or to ask questions or help to.
When the startup phase is done Unofficial business is planning to give shares to all full members. (after the trial-memebership is over and both parties are happy you become a full member) And give out periodical dividens. So if the Corporation is making money so are you!!
We have exp. in lvl 4 mission so we know what we're doing. You get plenty of freedom and room to do you own thing.
We focus at the moment on: Mining, Trade Missions and exploration. We organize fun corp pvp events with prizes. So we have fun, learn pvp combat and if your lucky win a ship/item in the same time!

HABU is a very small, tight group of players with friends in other corps and NPC corps. We all get together to do many things, from running missions, to mining out entire systems, to exploring WH space together.
I am the CEO of HABU at this time, a veteran player w/ 3+ years of doing just about everthing you can do in EvE, I give advice on everything, from fitting ships, to how-to's. We are a rather small, but active corp, now part of a 200 man alliance. Primarily active in EU TZ. We are a really friendly bunch, with real life as a priority, not the game. We try to do the best we can to make eve a better place and we like all kinds of pilots.

First of all, Thank You, to "all" that have replied. I will be looking into all that have shown interest, and hope I find something that makes both parties happy.
A little more about what I am looking for. Must be a Corp very comfortable with Real Life issues. There may be times I am on everyday for hours, then I wont be even able to touch the computer for 5-7 days at a time, unfortunately. But that isnt too often, but it does happen. The weather is "also" breaking and I live in Seattle, WA and its a beautiful city with lots to do when the sun it out. Not to mention the economy woe's we all are facing, makes it difficult to pass up opportunities to network.
I have yet to set foot in low-sec let alone null space. I am comfortable in the mining/missioning side, but would like to graduate eventually to slowly getting into PvP, again "eventually". Im unsure about size of Corp, I would imagine all have there up/down sides. Smaller being easier to get to know/trust your mates.
Again my main (10mil+ SP) fly's a Hulk, with good Exploration skills. I have level 5 in Astrogmetrics, level 4's in Pinpointing, Rangefinding and also Archaeology and Hacking. Good, not great. Helps in finding those pesky Hidden Belts though, and when my RL friend is on whatever I find we try and do as far as sites go. Main fly's a Drake, not well, but good enough to help with Sec/Rep for better tax's and refining.
My alt (7mil SP) just got an Orca, will be finishing out the skills for that, such as Foreman, Director, Leadership. Alt also only needs Gallante Freighter 1 and I can fly the Obelisk. Got an Iteron Mark V, was close enough to shoot for the Oblelisk so I just did it even though I cant afford it, 1hr 30 mins skill and I can haul too.

Just so you know, we are a corp that understands Real Life comes first. We all have times when because of either something outside stops us from playing or just a lack of desire. Part of the reason we have the forums so if you are gonna be gone for huge amounts of time a not can be dropped there.

Well I can say a lot or ask a lot, this however reflects only my questions in general and you would only get answers from me.
For more of an information stream back and forth I can suggest to join ingame channel Red Horizon.
If the people in there don't respond fast enough just slap them with a Tuna to get them into shape.
People there can have a chat with you and both sides can get a bit more of a feel about eachother.
