hey, im interested in how to track a player down in this game? is it only really possible if you carebear enough to get a high level locator agent? cause thats not really an option.

There are level 3 agents that will find people for you. But there is a limit to the range that a level 3 agent will do. To get the max range (anywhere in Eve) you need a level 4 agent. And to get that you either need to know a mission runner that has one or get one yourself. It doesn't really take that long to get a level 4 people finder agent.

Join factional warfare, go plexing. This will boost your factional standings. Once you get the factional standings high enough, you can use *any* agent of the faction. Including the locators. Takes a couple weeks to get above a 6 or so.
After that, use any lvl 3 locator agent..Will find'em anywhere in EvE. Just takes a while. Level 4 agents are much faster at it.

right, so I went to hit up my old buddy Heidirdria Bord (lvl 4 locator agent from boundless creations) for a location and found that the old agent dialog options have been replaced by buttons and somehow there is no button for using the locator function?
is this an oversight or is the button hidden somewhere or is there another way to access the locator function now?
