Sturmgrenadier in EVE is comprised of several Corporations with over 200 characters.
...Benefits...
-Large gaming community formed in 2000 (well before EVE)
-Active group of friends looking to target recruit when we are active most (see requirements)
-Over 650 members in six games, over 200 characters in EVE between all Corporations
-Empire outlet when you take long breaks from PvP. A place to remain friends when your life gets crazy.
-Logistics set up with Jita purchases of ships and equipment delivered to combat zones
-Member in good standing of an established alliance
-Financially solid Corporation that does not grant accesses, no significant Corp theft possible
-Professional forums with updated threads to give you the knowledge you need. Also links to make EVE easier
-Partial Reimbursment for fleet losses. Ship losses are reimbursed to compensate during 'protracted wars'
-Crystal clear Teamspeak servers, 6 in total for all games. Ability to handle 200 members (tested at 140)
...Requirements to join Sturmgrenadier Inc...
-Hours of gameplay should be within 0:00 and 08:00 EVE
-7 million or more skillpoints
-Minimum of two active accounts, at least one for PvP (Both limited APIs required (when applying put one API in the body of the application), only one needs to be in the Corp)
-Be a mature adult looking for a fun and active PvP group with a military structure
...Why Sturmgrenadier...
If you have been gaming for awhile, you have probably already joined a group that let you down. It may have been a bunch of young kids, it might have been mentally unstable, or disrespectful leadership, it doesn't really matter. We are laid back unless in combat situations, or big Complex/Wormhole operations, where we go to strict disciplined communication on Teamspeak and get the job done.
Sturmgrenadier is involved in EVE, Darkfall Online, World of Warcraft, Lord of the Rings Online, The Realm and other First Person Shooters we lump into a portal called Warzone. Each game portal is governed by respectful, adult leaders. As new games arrive that we are interested in, you can stay with the same friends and experience that game. We currently have over 650 members in all game portals.

We are ruled by a long-standing Charter that covers every game we play in. Everyone from the leader of Syndicate as a whole to the individual members adhere to the Charter. Ask us about our charter, or view it on the below link...

While PvP is ongoing most many hours of the day, seven days a week, we tend to make isk on the weekends and kill on the weekdays. This is primarily due to the makeup of our group, 21 and older, many with careers.
...What we are looking for...
Other than the requirements, we do well with confident, respectful players. People that want to PvP and know the limits of their budget are welcome to join us for some fighting. If this is your first time PvPing in any MMO, Sturmgrenadier is not the right home for you.

An impressive aspect of Sturmgrenadier (SGHQ) is how it's organized. We have a group of leaders outside the game (called "syndicate") that can take over the corp if something bad happens to the leadership.
There is always someone watching the officers/leadership to make sure everything is going smoothly. And if you feel something is wrong, there is someone you can appeal to for help.
That system is part of what makes SG so successful in such a diverse body of games, everything does not hinge on one supreme leader to do everything.

Awesomeness checklist:
1. Fun group of adult players who understand the concept of having a "real life" outside of the game - check
2. Excellent logistics/industrial backbone to keep you well supplied and a cozy place for your alts to make isk - check
3. Currently involved in major 0.0 conflicts - check
4. Very active corp with lots of good pilots - check
5. Large comunity beyond just eve - check

Ever since I joined SG just over two years ago, I've continually been impressed by the level of maturity and professionalism that it's members exude.
When you're in the thick of PvP conflict, and the proverbial crap is hitting the fan, it's nice to have the membership remain cool-headed, respectful of one another, and lack the childish antics that seem so prevalent in /local from those who oppose us.
If you're looking for a group of adults to game with, and are tired of the sophmorphic antics of the "average" gamer, you'd do well to give us a try.
I've found SG to be anything but "average".

The finest group of people I've ever had the pleasure of being associated with in any game.
A command staff that is made up of people you will respect and admire for their professionalism and their ability to have a damn good time.
Rank and file made up of some of mature, fun-loving, REAL people - Yes, they have jobs, families, bills, etc. Yes, they drink beer (okay, some of them drink a lot of beer).
The best part about SG is the people. You log in to a drama free environment, EVERYONE is on Comms just like they should be, and you get to whatever it is that is going on that evening. You don't have to tolerate some jerk repeating whatever political garbage he just saw on his favorite TV show/blog/newspaper because the organization doesn't tolerate it.
The members are thinkers and doers: very competitive, very fun-loving, and not afraid to stick their neck out for each other - particularly not if it means an opportunity to blow some stuff up.
In summary - join SG, or get SG'd.

Old,nasty,well coordinated corp that's been around forever and tho I haven't been in system with one of them since 06, well any corp that can leave an impression that lasts 3+ years is just one you should join.
