P.S. On a more serious note, one of the things proposed to fix Arties was to increase ROF about twice(I am pulling numbers out of my rear, just to illustrate the concept) maintaining the damage, while decreasing clip size twice also. So Arties would become burst weapons, delivering "pseudo-alpha" of quick 5 shots over 10-20 seconds and than having to chill down/rewarp for reloading. It would make Arties stand out from other guns instead of making them "Generic LR instadamage weapon system #3"
I kind of like that idea. Would make arty less useful for large fleet battles, but it's already far below T2 425mm rails/tachyons so no great loss there tbh. It fits with the "hit and run" concept of minmatar. Tempest needs more speed & agility to make it work imo though.
PS you could leave 1400mm as they are for the maelstrom pilots and change the 1200mms...

non-constructive thread is non-constructive.
nothing wrong with amarr; they can't active tank, slow as bricks but on the other hand good range due ot TECH II AMMO (!) which makes up for above mentioned characteristics.
Remove that then what's left... (yes recons are good etc but talking about pure turret platforms now)

yes indeed.
its so annoying that I can't use my mega pulse II geddon to snipe with , I got to switch to my sniper apoc to be able to do that. IMO megapulse II's + scorch should have at least 150 km range on an abbadon or geddon. they stole my sig :'( |
