darth solo Caldari Celestial Apocalypse death from above..	Posted - 2009.04.14 11:48:00 - [1] Howdy. Well this is it, has it really been 5 + years? By next week Celes Apoc will be closed for good. ItÆs not been an easy decision and iv probably upset quite a few people, but itÆs the CORRECT thing to do and in time they will come to understand that. The truth of it is that our corp has no place in EVE now. The good times were the battleship battles with Space Invaders, m0o, m3g4, the fights with Curse and Stain alliance, and our old enemies from BOB how can I forget them. NC that was some serious fighting around branch, cheers for that and respect for always keeping it fun and civil, Centurius i wouldnt have wanted your job mate, haha. We pretty much tried to fight everyone with as little blues as possible and give our guys all the fun they could handle, heres also hoping all that we fought against had as much fun as us, maybe a little less. We were left behind in EVE when we decided not to adapt to new things around the time that BOB was formed; we had amazing pilots and at that time would have made a serious splash. Maybe we were a little late in creating INSRG, ifs and buts. I wonÆt talk about INSRG much as thatÆs already been said, but wow! What a laugh that was and a big ôYoö to c4w3/butter/agmar/BV/franky, not to mention all of the Celes Apoc guys who helped run it. Back to Celes Apoc, cheers to Shadowthrone, our early days were great, Shariona without you we wouldnÆt be here, dont hate me for long mate, all the old guys who were just superb in putting up with my temper tantrums and working crazy hard for the corp. Renox, littlewolf, Gyrn, Shary, Cuisinart, Tiwaz, Lord Chaos, Plim, Dacovale, Mechcore, fedykin, xtreme, orosini, kidrob, chip2k, gibmunder, boogie, jonkai jacko, dabster, haunty, kram, eggduck, bruch, cheers for all sticking around for so long no matter how bad things got, it was a pleasure. The newer guys will be moving to another corp and will remain working on the alliance, this will be lead by Mechcore, who knows maybe in time this will be stronger than we ever were, its got every chance with mechcore leading it, good luck wee man. As for the old timers who donÆt wish to move to the new corp , all I can say is RECRUIT them, they are PVP gods. As for me? who knows and I imagine a lot of you will be saying who cares. I personally had some good times flying with CELES back in Fountain...back in the Vertigo Coalition days. There were some annoying/aggravating times facing off against them up in Branch. From a diplomatic standpoint, the months leading up to that conflict were some of the most frustrating I've ever experienced. Even when it was aggravating, there were still some fun aspects, though. It's a bummer to see an old EVE institution like Celestial Apoc go by the wayside, but I trust that darth knows what's best for his corporation. Take care. When I first got heavy into combat, I joined Black Omega Security. The 2nd day i joined i get the message "Celestial Apocalypse has declared war on Black Omega Security. After 24 hours fighting can legally occur" Having Fedayken Naib one volley my scorp shields in agil with his tempest still shows remnants on my lucky undies. You were, and always will be "The good guys". Darth ,thank you for everything. Keep the respect CELEST has earned and carry into the new corps you join fellas. Respect is the one thing badly lacking in eve atm. This post is going to cost me 50 mill, and it's worth every isk.

When their official stance was that they only fought "pirates"... thats the same time I think they officially stopped War decing just pirates ;p and the CELES/ STAIN wars began. Was a long time ago. I hate to drag this up darth but you shoulda joined us in creating RAWR when we wanted you to Nevertheless the past you hung on to was a great one indeed so I don't blame you, and CELES continued to thrive for a long time after. Then I think after abstaining from the alliance game for so long you went in a little too hard and too fast with INSURG and got drunk on it all. But you still made a splash, short lived as it was, and good fights were had all round. I'm sure the CELES crew will continue to get good fights wherever they go. Shame though to see the community ending and yet another line firmly drawn under the old anti-pirate movement. _

Renox, littlewolf, Gyrn, Shary, Cuisinart, Tiwaz, Lord Chaos, Plim, Dacovale, Mechcore, fedykin, xtreme, orosini, kidrob, chip2k, gibmunder, boogie, jonkai jacko, dabster, haunty, kram, eggduck, bruch, cheers for all sticking around for so long no matter how bad things got, it was a pleasure. The newer guys will be moving to another corp and will remain working on the alliance, this will be lead by Mechcore, who knows maybe in time this will be stronger than we ever were, its got every chance with mechcore leading it, good luck wee man. As for the old timers who donÆt wish to move to the new corp , all I can say is RECRUIT them, they are PVP gods. As for me? who knows and I imagine a lot of you will be saying who cares. Peace. dsolo. Come on darth, you can't quit this ****. Celes was like my arch enemy back in the day, and to this day darth you are the only person in eve that can claim my only battleship loss. Especially as it was only last week i finally got the only Dreadnaught CELES ever owned blown up. The day i joined eve i remember seeing an ATUK & CELES guy duel in assualt frigates. Few months later, i buzzed around some CELES bs in Agil one day. A year later fighting BoB in UnA i bump into VC, someone gives me a free inty and next minute im living in Fountain in CELES, **ing ** up the way CELES always did. On the weekends i'd solo a few geddons drunk around Fountain, sometimes people would come with me and die too. Later, this turned into leading small gangs, almost always fighting outnumbered. We skitted around the EVE universe but always ended up back in Fountain. At one point we even became mates with Serpentis, hitting Delve with intoxicated carrier pilots. I moved onto losing hacs and cs, solo, drunk, and later taking people with me again. We hit up the north, MM were gracious enough at the time to accept us into the NC for a while. The Branch campaign saw me erect poses and solo other peoples Hulks, drunk, usually dying to NPCs, or falling asleep at the keyboard, pos half erected, drunk, in a carrier outside the shields. The day i left was really hard for me, i didnt want to abandon the corp and its people, but i had the taste for epic fights from INSRG and wanted more. I even spoke to darth on the phone about it i found it so hard to convince myself to do it. Instead i joined Tri, got drunk, and lost some carriers afk outside stations. Its been (emo)tional...and im sure like me you'll do it all over again soon. Plim: I was driven to absolute idiocy by CCP Plim: Screw you Kinsy, I was already an idiot before i started playing eve.

I've only been rely active for 2 years in 04/05, Celes is the only corp I ever joined to PvP in and it was everything I needed to have fun. LW being the calmest and nicest, Fed for being the best solo BS pilot I've known, Jonk for the kickass pirate break we had, Plim for cracking me up every day (until today), Lodhi/Malken for being just badass and the worst smacktalkers I've come to know, Shar for dying every time we went on an ops and Egg for some of the most hilarious scouting, you and the leaders all stick out during my active time and made up the heart and soul of the corp for me. Also thanks to all the enemies we had in Obe, we knew we could always come back home and have some fun against you guys (and we did especially against F-E, Corp 1, Quam, M3G4, Celts and Biomass). Gibmundurs pic marks the start of the best time I had in EVE (the war against SA/CA). Actually I still remember smacking Lana Lane, your annoying alt scout and Rindarr who betrayed you a few months later ;). I could always count on having a lot of fun against Xenobytes when I went out alone, some of the best knife edge solos I had. I just cant forget all those fun times on vent when we where fighting: Shadowthrone getting grumpier and grumpier trying to get us organized. The fights with stain around hed-gp. The empire wars, the fight in jita with darth trying to tank the enemy at a station yelling: come in come in i can hold 'm........no no stay stay im going down......COME IN COME in....NO stay goin down....no come in. The undestructable raven :) The race father lazerous organized....i can go on. And somehow that scouting i did back then still haunts me lol It was the best time eve can give and it was all thanks to celes's members Thank you all for that, and hope we keep running into eachother.

I flew under some of the most experienced and idiotic (kinsy) FC's when in celes. Not only was it hard core PVP for most of the days, there was a true friendship within the ranks of the corp. It had its ups and downs, but for me the most memorable time in Celes was sitting in PNQY. Welshy had gang lead, 60 man Xelas gang, 40+ BS waiting for us to jump in, we had 30+ BS. We jump in, slaughter the Xelas gang, with very little losses, no BS anyway. 5 seconds later, reports of a 60 man horde BS gang about to jump in our side. Once again slaughtered. :P Would like to thank everyone who was in celes at the time of our Fountain Domination. Would do it all over again. CCP role back 2 years for EVE and keep it that way please Much love to you all <3 PS. Plim your an idiot.

The people in there were people you coud depend on at all times, drunk or sober It was where the best PVPers came... We fought hard, against many, in good or bad times... I think I can speak for the most part of all the ex-CELES members in saying that we were lucky to fly with such charismatic leaders and be inspired in such a way. Curse, stain, the north, Fountain, empire... it feels like in the last 5 years I have either shot at or been shot by pretty much every corp in Eve in damn near every region in Eve... As many times as I (like others) have grown bored or disillusioned with the game and eventually come back to it, no matter what our enemies smacked with in local or on the sewer that is normally CAOD, I have always been proud to be part of what I consider to be one of (if not THE) best single corporations in the Eve universe. It has always been funny to try to understand what many peoplpe would say or think about Shadowthrone and Darth when we (CELES) KNEW that it was 100% about the PvP and there was no unlterior motives or grand schemes. It is sad to see the ole' girl close up but the heart and soul of the old school celes will never die and to blatenly steal Fedaykin's tagline... "Long live the fighters". Peace! X.W.
