Change the Ashimmu slotlayout/bonusses to the following:
5 Highslots (3gunslots/2utilityslot) 7 Medslots 3 Lowslots
Special Ability: 100% bonus to Medium Energy Turret damage
Amarr Cruiser Skill Bonus: 10% bonus to Energy Vampire and Energy Neutralizer range and 10% bonus to Energy Vampire and Energy Neutralizer transfer amount per level
Minmatar Cruiser Skill Bonus: 10% bonus to Stasis Webifier activation range per level
Boost the grid/cpu by a large margin (its a pita to fit anything at all right now), and swap the armor/shield hp over towards being a shieldtanker. Also, add a 15m3 or so dronebay.
Now we'd be getting this:
Highslots: 3x Heavy Pulse II 2x Medium Neut/Nos II
Mediumslots: 1x Domination 10mn MWD 2x LSE II 2x Dark Blood Web 1x Dark Blood Disruptor 1x Dark Blood Medium Cap Injector
Lowslots: 2x Dark Blood Heatsink 1x Damage Control II
Rigs: 3x Core Defense Field Extender I
Drones: 3x Light ECM/Warrior II
Sign me!

Problem with that is that Blood Raiders are categorically armour tankers so the Ashimmu wouldn't fit in with the backstory if the changes you suggested took place.

Hell no. The ashimmu would be awesome with some more grid and a better bonus instead of laser cap use. There is no need to change it beyond that especially when Sansha already shield tank.

Why not just buff the energy vampire drain bonus and webifier range bonus to 20%/level each?
Small change, not really OP and better than it is right now.

Good lord, people. The patch isn't even out yet and I've already seen no less than three faction ship whines.
Is there some kind of secret society that decides what to whine about on the forums next? wtf.
Oh, and in regards to the topic itself, you might as well add 3 high slots (turrets), a midslot, and 5 lowslots. Oh, and that 100% damage bonus? Change it to 9100%. I mean, if we're gonna make a ship ridiculously overpowered, let's not halfass it. ---

Special Ability: 25% bonus to Medium Energy Turret damage (maybe other thoughs for this special bonus? the laser cap usage one is pretty useless on this ship tbh)

As far as im concerned, the ashimmu atm seriously lacks cpu/grid for a decent fit, and also badly needs at least one more midslot for a injector. Shield/armor/structure hp stays the same. Also add a 25m3 dronebay.
The 3 midslots just doesnt cut it for this ship, i know its mostly a amarr slotlayout but with the webbingbonus/heavy cap usage on the neuts, it just doesnt cut it. Giving it one more midslot gives it just the little more versatility it screams for with the current bonusses.
Would like feedback on this thought!

Maybe because all the combined faction frigates/cruisers bar the sansha line are screaming for a buff for a long time now?
I really dont know why ccp buffed the sansha line a while ago, while ignoring all the other ships that needed a buff as hard as the old sansha line, or maybe even even more. Imho, it really is about time to fix stuff that has been broken for god knows how many years now. So no, this isnt a whine, im trying to get a constructive thread going on a ship i really like, but impossible to fit decently in any way possible, using its bonusses.
Share your thoughts, please!

Ashimmu needs it's bonusses shifted around a bit. But mainly i think it needs a lot more powergrid, somewhat more CPU and a little more cap or cap recharge. It shouldn't be on par with a Curse, but it should at least be a lot more useful than it is now. Maybe simply focus it's bonusses on neut/nos rather than split them between it. It's got 3 bonusses to 3 completely different systems.
For that matter, the Cruor and Bhaalgorn also need a (slight) rebalance, to make them somewhat more useful. Not to mention that the Bhaalgorn NEEEEEEDS it's own unique ship model. Can't just make the Cruor and Ashimmu so damn pretty and then throw a 'used' armageddon in the mix >_<

Faction ships (Sansha aside) as a whole need reviewed. Singling-out the Ash' obvious flaws is pointless.
