where did you find this file at. I am unable to find it so I can try this fix.
edit. found it just had to make hidden files visible.

I have been looking for that settings folder without any luck, it ain't there no matter what Show/hide folder setting I'm trying.
So i tried downloading and reinstalling Eve (not before I removed any trace of the old client before ofc.) and much like everyone else have repoted didn't this effect the outcome and the mysterious settings folder continuous to elude me.
Have anyone heard or seen any recognition of failure from anyone involved with the CCP and Eve staff btw?

under the whatever name you have your account set to/Local/CCP/Eve
you delete the "eve" part game will make a new one and confirmed it does fix the issue

Same issue here no login screen after the splash screen comes up... tried looking for the "local file" that was posted but I can't find the right ones. Please post a more direct explanation of where to find this file and what exactly to do when you find the file. Thanks in advance.

Workaround -
Disable your network connection -> start eve -> login screen will appear -> Enable your network connection -> play eve.

Clicked through all folders in Program/CCP/ directory with showing hidden files, and clicked through all folders in the mydocuments/EVE directory.
Did a search for CCP and Local folders, nothing showed up.
