Patch Notes:
Quote: In addition, if you are podded and lose implants the client will now adjust skill training time in line with your new attributes making skill training slightly longer. If you lost a rank of a learning skill due to being podded, the client will also take that into consideration and the new attribute level will instantly be applied making training of skills slightly longer.
I wonder who in the whole eve universe would benefit of that. Nerf pvp, boost carebears, yay. \o/

Jetcan mining was an expoilt back then. Why didn't it get fixed? -----------------------------------------

Because the devs responded that the jet cans only remain in space for so long, you don't keep an eye on the time and pop... all gone.
The client not reflecting the servers calculations (or the server not getting it right) is an actual bug.

I cannot believe people are whining about this. It never made sense before and was an obvious bug; now it's been fixed. The game is better. Cheer or boo?

Was jetcan mining really an exploit, or an unintended consequence of the feature?

Take +1/+2 is a joke.
So a +3 set = 40M. It is not something I will call "cheap", same if I am not poor.

If you think podding happens only in low sec then you are a idiot!!!
why dp idiots also insist on buying a new set of 5 implants or more when they get podded?? you only need 2 implants in youre active clone when you pvp... namely the two that are relared to what skill youre training.

That's not boosting carebears, nerfind PvPers, or whatever else people say at all...
It does act as a bit of an isk sink (or actually increases implant demand, which raises prices a bit). Hell, I'm all for a bigger sting of death, the loss of a ship pales in comparison to a couple years ago, some would say it's too easy to make isk now.

Unintended feature.
Now the devs thinks that it's a good idea.

Cheap for useless carebears that don't do anything but grind missions.
That was the point really. I don't care if it was a bug or a feature, like lag, it's a stupid timesink NO ONE benefits of.
Improvements are only improvements if they help anyone. This helps no one, if it's a bug fix or not.
Do you guys even think for a second before posting or are this just chatbots that will poast "Can I have your stuff?" whenever there's a new thread?

Ah the symbiont relationship between all players of a game causes tears to one type of player.
How curiously oblivious of the dumb pvper (there are intelligent pvpers that appreciate this relationship, thats who I fly with) unable to understand that this sandbox is for all, not just those that like to see things explode.
Replacing implants takes a couple of hours ratting for me, life is good thanks.
Oh, that would mean YOU the person that wants to just go around killing people ratting would have to spend 2 hours in the shoes of your prey? Oh the falling from your own self proclaimed grace.
How ever will you survive?

It's your choise, some people like to pewpew in an empty clone, some does it in pirate implants worth several billions.
But i wouldnt mind being able to clonejump a little more frequent than every 24hr.. maybe for a fee you could do it whenever you want, but after 24hrs the fee is gone, i dunno might be unfair since the economy in EVE is so widely spread.
but thats a completely other discussion. -- Diplomacy is the art of telling someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip. |
