Same here. It's almost as though the TQ cluster actually started up, then borked itself and fell flat on its face again.
Might I stress AGAIN!?
There have been a LOT of issues with EvE lately... I'm none too impressed. But I'm sure CCP will stop releasing expansion packs now and cater for the massive influx of new users they garnered...

Thanks to our money they could buy the best hardware (ramsan), combined with the best developpers ever, fabulous people hunting bugs "like real men", and all this put together the downtime has been dramatically decreased as promised.
I know it's not easy to run a thing of this scale, but please stop posting blogs about how wonderful you and your system are, that doesn't make sense. A little bit of modesty would be greatly appreciated here.

I concur. The prevailing attitude with CCP is as follows:
"Oh, there's a problem. That's EXCELLENT! Gives us a chance to do some real Microsoft-grade bug testing on our product!"
No, run-time bugs are NOT good. You should be absolutely sharting yourselves, but you're not. What gives?
Surely Oveur's ego isn't THAT huge!

I can connect now. But that extended downtime (without warning) was offensive. Please, PLEASE CCP, if you run into an issue during downtime, TELL US about it!

I can connect now but there are a lot of systems closing down ..it started when i came on and is still running

Same here. It really looks as though a high percentage of the TQ cluster didn't start at all.
Again, that's quite poor. Still no announcement on the front page though.
