Ok, your patch notes state:
"The number of gas and ore sites in wormhole space has been reduced to remove unnecessary results in the scanner. The new system will have more concentrated gas and bigger asteroids in the remaining sites to compensate."
But it appears that the number of belts has gone to 0 in some systems? My Alliance has a w-space system for which we have setup many pos's with many intensive refining arrays and now it would appear it is much to do about nothing.
They don't even appear to be spawning from the DT?
Am i to believe that if one does spawn it will be the mother load or what?
i would very much appreciate a response to this before i am forced to remove all of the mining assets (esp if it is in fact a miscalculation).

Pretty much this -- I am in one of the shallowest w-systems and it has multiple belts that include the ABC ores, spodumain, pretty much every ore there is, in high volume. ------------------ Ironfleet.com |

side note, the new scan graphics are 10 times harder on my system and the "echo" effect of a double hit on a site doesn't seem to be working as i would think you intended

in some cases the only way i know im over it is if the name "Probe 2" flickers

Seems to be a problem with the low shader setting. I use medium, and it's a bit dim compared to before but still plainly visible.
But, yeah. These forums seriously need some indicator that the post has ended and the sig has started. |

confirmed so far, no more grav belts (actually nothing at all except 1 wh) in my system since patch

note - today i was unable to pick up ANY signals using deep, sisters or core probes.
Apparently i had to reset my filter. I created one for "Cosmic Signatures" the first day this came out and it apparently no longer works (recreating it did the trick).

Living such a long time in w-space might have messed up your scanners... try fixing it by editing the filter you are using, and saving it. No need to actually changing anything, just saving.

i would bugreport it with the systemname if it doesnt clear up.. some system dont seem to spawn anything at all (except the lonely exit wh) anymore.
i moved now to a different system and it works just fine there :)
although "we reduced gas/gravi" hmmm 14 sigs: 2 wormhole, 1 radar, 1 magno, 5 grav, 6 Ladar >12 anomalys wow... :)

I wonder if this doesnt have to do with the number of planets?
this one here has 8 - and still not one grav or other site - ONLY wh's and anomalies.

not sure if planets play a role, maybe the "system size in au"
old system had 8 planets, no sigs, no anoma1lys (except 1 wh)
new system, looks a bit bigger, largest planet was XI or IX

filters are bugged to hell an back
They reset when: - you jump system - you save another filter (previous gets deleted) - you restart game
and prolly more.

Still no gravimetric sites.
The bug report I filed got filed today - attached to defect so that would suggest that this is in fact a bug and it will be fixed
This is helpful in the sense that we now know barren systems (barren of grav sites) is not intended
wish you guys would have just stated that?

My corp is in same boat Raylon. We have all kinds of stuff set up here and there are zero signals cept the exit out. This is really taking a toll on our people that are in here with all their assets. There is NOTHING for us to do but wait and scan the new exit holes which definitally can't be intended. My report was also attached to a bug. Are they ever gonna fix it??? were paying to play this game arent we??? meaning time=money but this BUG is robbing us blind as we are paying to fuel the 3 POS's in here.

the problem lies not just in wspace but high sec (especially and low and 00 sec) the dynamic spawning system is broken that is sites run and finished st ay for hours without vanishing, and they arent being replaced
If u find a system empty or a site that wont despawn simply lodge a petition udner agent mission in progress stuck and the devs will look at it apparently they are aware of it by my 3 or so petitions a day on various systems
SO its not so much the sites themselves if u despawn a grav site something else should repalce it pretty quickly but this isnt happening the empty site remains until its natural expiration up to 3 days and there is very very infrequent replacement of all sites
