Like the title says I'm trying to run dual accounts on my computer. I know this is possible, because many of my friends in EVE do it.
However I am experiencing a bug none of them have experienced.
Upon trying to start up my second account I keep getting the following error:
"While we appreciate your enthusiasm to try EVE, we would also appreciate if you could limit yourself to using a single trial or subscription accounts only."
My main account, is a paid account, and this new one is a trial account I have created to try to decide if I want to have a new character or not. If it is going to be where I can only run one account at a time.....for whatever reason, I think that makes up my mind on this.
If anyone knows a workaround, or how to fix this....please let me know. Thanks for your time.

You can't run a trial at the same time as a subscription account or another trial account. Always been this way. In fact, I don't know why I'm answering you - or why you posted. The message it gave you was pretty straightforward :-\

If you know someone you can trust, buy a PLEX on your main account...station trade the PLEX to your trusted friend, and log out of your main account, and log in on your trial account and apply the PLEX.
Restrictions on the trial account stop you sending ISK to your trial character, or contracting anything to them.
I've used the above method to activate my second and third account without any hassles. One the trial has had a PLEX applied, it asks you to log out, and then back in, and the trial restrictions are gone...then you can run 2 full accounts at once.

Um, no. You can send ISK to trial accounts, owned by you or not

You need to open the trial client and log that character on first, this allowed me to play my main and my alt while she was still a trial.

You can try running the second account as another computer user. Create a new user on your computer than SHIFT+right click (I think.. not sure, on linux now) on Eve and select "Run As..". Select the other user you created. Should work as the new eve session will not see the old one running on other user.

You can always run a TQ and a SiSi client at the same time if you just want to see if your box can handle it.

You should be able to make a Contract to that trial char and giving him the Plex (maybe, actually not really sure. Does it work?) , the plex doesnt have to be in the same place as the trial char. Works even if the plex is 5000 Jumps away in a different station. Just open Assets, rightclick plex and go from there ;)
