"The client is already connecting to the server (whether or not the login progress bar is showing). Please wait."
Needs to be replaced by...
"The client is doing jack all and you will have to manually keep on checking. Please wait."
Never have I had the client connect, by itself, when displaying this message. It always just sits there until you hit connect.
Gay.
Change it or fix it.

Edited by: Kulmid on 20/04/2009 04:16:32 Yet it still wouldn't read, "Take this opportunity to whine on the forums about how you cannot connect to the server and/or have a problem with how this process works. Make sure to post it in the wrong forum section so that is receives extra attention from all the wrong people. Shortly after all will your problems will be solved and all your wildest dreams will come true."
Which is what you seemed to have done.

If I'm *****ing and moaning before coffee about something that hasn't worked forever, I'm sure the hell not gonna be arsed to take it anywhere but general discussion.
This isn't a connection problem anyway, as you've misstated. It's just a bogus message.

I must admit I've had frustration with the same matter.

I've found this annoying too, but forunately I managed to get over after about 2-3 seconds. Removed. Please keep your EVE signature related to your EVE persona and not that of a real life politician. Navigator |

I get over it even quicker by closing the client and reloading it to find it logs in straight away. Something to do with the node your login attaches to being randomn or something. It could also be affected by pseudo-cosmic antimatter, but this is not confirmed as of yet. ------------------------------------------

I tried to log in this morning, and I Was 2nd in the queue. Yet after several minutes I was still 2nd in the queue. What's that about?
And yes, just closing the client and reopening it gets around this anal problem.

I admit it doesnt really work as advertised...
-if I leave the client running even for 5 minutes, often cannot connect -if I close and restart the client, I can *always* connect right away..
