Do you enjoy flying with a fleet of experienced wormhole dwellers, as the fleet is ejected from the wormhole like a swarm of locusts, descending upon on a W-system, ripping the sleepers inside apart before they even know what hit them, and withdrawing to safety with billions in loot and salvage in their cargo holds a few hours later? If so, then Samurai Salvaging is for you.
Samurai Salvaging is a NA corp that is two years old, and since its inception back in January of 2010, has been Living in various wormhole systems, working our way up from class 1 wormholes, to reap the benefits of the higher class wormhole systems. We currently live in a Class 4 Wormhole system, with a Class 5 static. What this means is that while we are safe from invading capitals due to the wormhole mass restrictions, and have several layers of defence to protect us from various other threats, we have access to the high end wormhole sites next door, with the ability to fall back to safety when we are finished decimating their sleeper population.
Since most people are in it for the isk, let me give you some numbers. Depending on the loot and salvage, a class 5 mag site is worth anywhere from 500m to 1 billion isk. So if the loot is good, we can fly out of there with 1 billion isk in loot in under an hour. not sure about you, but I am pretty sure that that is good isk for a group of six people and their alts. Another site in class 5's that we come across, is Instrumental Core Reservoirs, the best ladar site in wormhole space. currently due to the changes, each one of those sites is going for a guaranteed billion isk, Minimum. While we don't always find those sites, there is always c5 anomalies to play in, which easily net everyone flying anywhere from 100-200m an hour if CCP favors us with good salvage.
If that doesn't attract your attention, then what about being deep in wormhole space, where in order to find a path to k-space, often times you will need to find a path through 3-4 other wormholes. what more fun could there be than exploring wormhole space where you have no idea what the next wormhole will bring you?
In addition, we are part of the Stellar Defense Alliance with IBM. we are the pve and farming side of the alliance, they are science and production side of it. we farm the sleepers, IBM buys the materials off of us, and uses it to produce all t3 components. in return, we can purchase any t3 components we need from them at a reduced cost.
Now that I am sure I have your interest, this is what kind of pilots we are looking for;
- Must be able to fly a tengu with all subs at 4, and defensive and offensive subs at 5.
- Must be able to use t2 large shield transporters. since we use spider tanking tengus, this is our tank.
- Must be mature. sure there are times when we are goofing off and such, but you should be able to tell when it is appropriate
- Must be able to scan. We live in wormholes so we live and die by scanning. if you can't scan, then you shouldn't be in wormholes
- Must want to make isk. we have near unlimited amount of isk in c5 space, just need to put in the work to find it.
- Must have a mic, since we use voice comms on ops, and it is critical to spread information when there is a threat
- Must be able to follow orders. When we are on an op, the fleet's safety comes first. if you jeopardize it in anyway, you will be immediately kicked from the op and ordered back to home base. if you fail to follow orders during an op and risk the safety of the fleet, the fleet WILL open fire on you in order to secure its safety.
What we offer;
- A secure c4 space in which to operate out of
- the opportunity to make as much isk as you want. (If we have enough people, we will run ops as much as possible)
- Pilots with years of experience with wormholes and their mechanics.
- While we are mainly looking for PvE pilots to farm sleepers, there is room for mining and PI alts in the c4, for something to do in the down time.
- A fun environment where we are hoping to find loyal pilots to help both us and themselves expand.
Samurai Salvaging has a 10% corp tax on isk made from based in the c4. this is to pay for fuel and keep the lights on. In addition, on all PVE ops there is an additional 5% insurance tax that is taken off. this Insurance tax is used to replace lost ships as long as the loss is not due the pilots arrogance or stupidity. this is determined by the officers on a case by case basis.
if you are interested in joining Samurai Salvaging to reap the benefits of wormhole living, then please message me ingame. any questions please post here and I will reply asap. |
