In the old days, scams was usually talently and carefully crafted. It was an archievement and a reconition of skills behind the computer.
But today tradehubs are wall of text with contract scams with 1000x more and localized language channels and locals everywhere are plastered with scams of all types. They are all so completely obvious and its just a mass post to hope someone jumps on it. Talentless and just massive anoyance.
They make isk spammers look like angels in terms of spam.
I dont mind scams at all. I just dont want it to be 90% of all chat in local etc. |

ccp is not going to nerf scammers, if your dumb enough to not check the contracts they offer carefully and not notice that their 140k ad in local reads 140,999,999 in the contract and not list "thousands" or "millions" of isk to boot on the page then oh well. or check the actual items offered in said contract.
they could expand the block list but scammers tend to delete and make new alts every so often anyway. so you just more than likely to fill out whatever more room they give you.
or maybe if ccp had the time and gm power make it against the "rules" to spam trades in local chat and make it trade channel only but that seems a waste of effort and time. i say ignore it or dont pay attention to local unless your under war dec or something.
and if they were so completely obvious then people would not fall for them, yet they do. bad thing is if people took some time and used their brains better then spammming scam contracts in local would not make them 100s of millions of isk a day doing nothing.
