So, I come home today and see this BU****IT is happening again. So all the Chromium products will become unprofitable except the elite.
I remember reading that EVE-Online China only has 1 0.0 corp. That's right, all of null space is owned and controlled by 1 ultimate power.
So if Goons are behind all this price gouging like Chromium today and the Dysprosium and Promethium yesterday, Will they soon have a monopoly on 0.0? If they can buy up stuff in collusion such as was said, their financial monopoly will make anyone going against them a futile effort.
When will CCP do something about it? probably never.

Dyspro goes up, Chromium goes up too, automatically, at about a ratio of anywhere between 20:1 and 40:1, more likely somewhere close to 27:1 or somesuch (arbitrary number guesstimated by me).
You can thank CCP for the "20 Chromium instead of 1 Dysprosium at x20 fuel costs" alchemy reactions for that.

if you were paying attention you would have bought up as much cadmium as you could get your hands on when this started.
Then you'd be on the fast track to being an internet spaceship mogul.

That, or all the secondary products containing dysprosium/promethium you could possibly buy. That way you could hold them for reprocessing, resale, or t2 production depending on which direction the effects of the panic surge go. You could even have done this in multiple market hubs.

Or you could have secretly replaced all the secondary products containing dysprosium/promethium with "Folger's", and sold it to unsuspecting customers.

Call back in...I dunno, three months or so, after we're actually settled into our new space and have finished kenny off, and maybe you can blame incidents like this on us. Until then, we've got better things to do.

Wrong. The chinese server has a substantially lower population than TQ, and when it first opened up it only had one "real" 0.0 contender. This was because that corp was made up of Chinese citizens who played on TQ up to that point, and understood what they needed to do to fast-track themselves - to the point of assigned skillplans for the core membership to cover different roles at the max possible speed. It's been years since then, and their 0.0 is as fractured as ours (arguably more so).
