I would like to start by saying that I love my corporation. I have to post with a different character because we are not allowed to talk to the enemy let alone talk on here about them.
The "elite pvpers" that my "INDUSTRY" corp is at war with did not do anything to them. We do not even know why they are attacking us. I guess maybe they have nothing better to do than use their "elite" pvp skills on a corporation of "industrial people". Wow. Some elite pvp they will get out of us...
Anyways. Our war was supposed to be over once we left the alliance but they are still at war with my corporation. Thats why I am here to ask if anyone wants to help us by declaring war on Kurtz's Kommandos. If you are a good pvp corporation and want to blow up some real s****suckers then they would be a good target. I'm sure that I could offer a nice donation for the cause.

Maybe your industrial corp is providing unwanted competition with their industrial arm.
In any case, this is EVE. You should be ready to defend your own even if you are a carebear.

Remove high slots and drones to fix eve
Or more seriously they may have been hired to disrupt your operations, you may be stepping on their territory and industry effort, they may just not like you or it could just be a random wardec against easy targets.
Just get in some cheap frigs, they will respect you for that and you might even enjoy yourself rather than sucking roids all day.

I don't get it, corps like yours solely focus on making money, they optimise their SP, playerbase, shiptypes and location to MAXIMISE profits at all costs and leaving out anything else. That means you make more cash than someone who IS (also) focussing on PVP, defending their assets and running a complete entity rather than just a money making machine. Why should you somehow be safe and shielded from pvp if you couldn't be bothered preparing for it.
It's like starting a security delivery service and instead of using armored cars and handpicking and educating your workforce you use citroen Berlingos and 17 yearolds picked from the streets, cause it's cheaper to get an maintain, JUST to optimise your income. And THEN you whine about being robbed and how it's so unfair that griefers take advantage of your lack of security, and how the police should have protected you from it ever happening.
You solely focussed on PVE in a PVP game, now you pay some tax to offset that extra income and lack of effort.

Pay them off, fight back or hire some mercs to handle your fighting for you. Or maybe, I dunno, follow your corporation rules if you love them so much, and dont come here crying.

Wardeccing, as frivolous and silly and unfair as it may seem, is also a part of EVE, the game you decided to play.
There have been plenty of topics about how to defend yourself and your corp against wardeccers. 9 out of 10 aren't "elite" PVPers at all, and when you take a group of 5-10 people in some insured T1 frigs and destroyers to them and kill one or two expensive T2 fitted T2 ships, they'll most likely leave you alone quite quickly. They can kill 10 of your ships for only killing one of theirs and they are still loosing money. And you actually might have some fun doing this ... oh noes!

People say that you can not compare Eve to real Life. I beg to differ. Even if this person is a troll this is a good example of why one should stand up for themselves or continue to be stepped on for the rest of their life.

I just checked who Kurts Kommandos are at war with. Your 'Industry' corp is/was part of an Alliance and the CEO of your Corp is advertising T3 Ships and Sub-Sytems in her Bio. This War dec is more than likely a shakedown because Kurts Kommandos know you have Isk to spare. Btw Alliances are usually formed for the extra protection it brings.

You didn't leave the Alliance. You just made a new Corp (that's not in the Alliance) under a slightly different name (changing the word INC. to inc.) and hopped to that to avoid fighting. This is considered 'bad form' and 'lame'. The people in charge of the Alliance and your CEO should know this. That's why you got War decced again. If you want to avoid war at all costs then drop to an NPC corp.

If you have Isk but are not willing to fight you should hire Mercs not beg for help on the forums. |

as a miner i can understand your pain, but then again, i can also say, if your corp hasn't done anything to prepare for pvp, then at the same time that is stupid. At least for me i can go into a bc and run around like an idoit and die, but have fun fighting. or i just turn one of my hulks into a pvp hulk, which is even better. over all you industry corp just needs to come back together rethink a few things and maybe get some pvp players into your corp, so then your not soo messed up when this happens. |

Seriously though; you keep stockpiling ISK, for what? You obviously never risk losing anything.
Use all that ISK to pay mercenaries.
or
Better yet: use the ISK you would use to buy mercenaries to equip ships of your own and learn how to actually defend yourself.

I see your point... but this is Eve. Simple as that. You'll be hard pressed to ever find the opposite of what you are experiencing. Sorry to say... but most elite simply go after weaker targets. Or, they use scams, lies, and spies to infiltrate and defeat you with your trust.
Chances are... if you got a war that you never saw coming, you may already have spies.

2. People who don't give a damn if they win or not
I consider myself a PvPer and I will fight someone against whom I have an unfair advantage any day, rather than fight someone where the odds appear even. Why? Because the even-odds opponent likely has something up his/her sleeve that makes them not so even...

Okay. I read all the comments on here and I would like to thank you all for your input. Some of the criticism was pretty harsh. Our war had dropped with the enemy about a day after we left the alliance but they just declared war on our corporation. So I guess they really think we are a great opponent. Some of you think that we do not want to fight and just want to hide. I do want to say that is not the case. I was just trying to offer our enemy to anyone who is looking for a corporation to fight. We have plans in place to try and overwhelm the enemy with cruiser and frigates. Some of the guys are actually pretty excited about showing them that we won't just roll over and die to them.
Even though we plan to fight back, we are still just an industry corporation. We are not extremely rich and don't really have very much to offer them as far as the battle. Plain and simple, we don't have experience with fighting wars. That's why I don't understand their desire to fight us. I don't see how fighting a bunch of miners can be an awesome challenge for them. If you were in a pvp corporation, wouldn't you want to fight other pvp corporations? |

One could just as easily ask what the awesome challenge is in busting asteroids and hauling ore all day. Maybe they're just in it for some easy profit or a good laugh. At the very least, they've already provided the forums with some delicious carebear tears. To be honest, I hope they blow your corp to smithereens.

I didn't misread anything. At the time this post was made Kurts Kommandos where not at war with anyone apart form SATRAPY and Rising Ashes INC.

Yes I can see when both Corps joined SATRAPY and I can see when Rising Ashes INC left.
War deccing Rising Ashes INC wasn't a mistake by Kurts Kommandos, it was a valid tactic to deal with lamers who Corp hop to avoid wars. You don't have to be a genius to work out why they got decced and why it looks suspicious to anyone after seeing the Corps history and name.
Rising Ashes INC was in SATRAPY from 17-11-09 and left on 21-04-09 which is 4 days after the War went live. Rising Ashes INC was decced AFTER it left the Alliance. So, yeah it looks like they left to avoid the war.
Rising Ashes inc has been in SATRAPY since 09-03-09 and is still a member.

I can now see the Corp which left is at war with Kurts Kommandos and I must say-if a Corp that big can't defend itself your Alliance is better off without them.

lol as aranis had said the corp in question is not rising ashes INC that was a holding corp and had 3 members will shortly have 2 actually. If they wanna dec rising ashes INC they can till there eyes bleed with excitement. No one uses that corp and it was a member of alliance for some time but the corp itself was made ages ago. we removed it as there was no need to have it in the alliance anymore anyways. sorry for the obvious confusion but rising ashes INC is not the corp in question this thread is in regards to another corp thats a former member of alliance.

im hoping u bragged about this to ur corp mates as soon enough u'll realise that emo tears actually fuel our war machine and u've probably guaranteed at least a further week  , which im sure will go down very well 
i think the world needs bad guys, i personally listen to the team rocket soundtrack from pokemon when i ride into battle.
