There is already a skill that fits tractor beams, because it is already a prerequisite for capital tractor beams.
Graviton Physics
Just implement it for such an application. It's a x5 skill, btw.

I'd rather see a skill that adds 10% range to tractor beams per level, and adding that as a bonus to Graviton Physics sounds fine to me.

Yes, I support this feature! Either this, or medium/large tractor beams. Makes little or no difference to me. Could even be both.

It would be nice but you could have a similiar skill for salvaging. One that will give +5% to your range... Would also be nice.

IMO 5% isnt enough, for the normal tractor beam it would only mean a 1 km increase per level
instead raise it to 25-50% per level or just increase the base range of the tractorbeams
or even better introduce more tractorbeam modules like medium/large
|

I aggree with this post. I would however like to add that giving prerequisites for the skill such as science 4/5 or salvaging 4/5 will greatly impact upon the income of mission runner who do not require the science skill to the same extent as industrialists.
all in all i would enjoy improvements to tractor beams so long as availability remains the same. |

I agree with both things brought up in this post.
It would be great to have a faster/farther reaching TBeam, and salving range.
I'd be more than happy with Tbeam range, but whatever. I mean, seriously with the way salvage ninja's are these days, There's gotta be something a misher can do. If nothing else, I suppose I'll have to Mish in Golem for the Tbeam bonus :P

PS. Dear Lord, don't add a new skill, stick it on one that people might already have. Graviton Physics works fine for me, and it makes sense.
