Please help....
I am coming back to game after a 5 year absence. I have 20mil skill points. I can fly battleships and think I have training on the next step from that. I have very poor mining skills as i used to be a bounty hunter. i have already been pod killed leaving deep space, earlier this morning. I am now back in controlled space and need to relearn everything. My thought was to get in my interceptor or blackbird and start doing missions after i finish the tutorial. I have science/engineer 5 and started training some science based skills like nuclear physics and gravitron physics. i have no idea why i would need those but had the skill books. My question is do you have tips for me? i used to love combat, but have no idea what is a smart setup or poor setup. My favorite ship used to be the tempest. Most of my ships have tons of things offline because the game has changed and what a ship used to be able to equip is different now. of course a ton has changed in game in 5 years, but it still looks cool and the login in voice is awesome.
Can i get some hints or directions of where to go what to do? Where is a good website to relearn combat, etc. my main skill used to be working the market, but that just required player skill. anyway, i appreciate any feedback. Well not so much criticism or snobish stuff..

Pause your training and make a new character. Play that character through all the newbie missions that are part of the tutorial, and finish ALL the tutorial(*). It will jog a lot of memories, and after a week or so you'll be right back into it.
*You'll start in a station with an agent offering a 2 part mission, once those are finished he'll send you to a place that has 3 agents with 10 part newbie missions. *** Thats a Templar, the amarr fighter. Its a combat drone used by carriers. |

Thanks cutie....
I could have my skill points wrong but I know my new clone today was expensive. in the old days the smartest way to play was to get learning to 4,then a few attributes, and then all your others... I liked flying ships... at the time when I quit i could fly the scorpion, tempest, and i think other was domi... I loved playing support combat role and then later watched pirate gankers in tempests and switched over to that ship to return the favor, back then it was the best way to finish off fast providing you had the right guns... If you could not drop them fast you had to get out until your mates joined in...
good advice cutie and will do just that. I want to get back into some light combat mainly vs npc... it really sucked getting podded this morning for the sole reason I forgot all the controls.... i was in a shuttle and it did get me back to safe space, so I guess there was some good in the event.
