I have paid my subscription for 6 months - $73.13 two days later you charge my credit card another $15.24. I Put in a petition and it sits there with no action for 7 days. Now today you charge my credit card yet another $15.24. Yes, I know I am not suppose to post this kind of stuff here, but you leave me no choice, this may actually get your attention. My bank has closed my credit card and issued two fraud notices.
CCP your customer service is VERY poor not to mention incompetent.
Is anyone else having these problems?

Just call the credit card company to block all charges, including that 73$ charge, until CCP resolves the issue.

Well, I found their customer service to be top notch. My friend had an issue with his credit card (long story short, he tried to pay the game 16 times after a failed attempt and his card got blocked). 2 days later after filling a petition, the card is released, the game is paid and we're happily ratting away again.
So they can' be incompetent. That's a harsh word, too easy to just swing it all over the place.

Evidentially they have another new billing system and when you change your subscription interval it does not remove you from the old billing system.
I had the same problem but I have multiple accounts, my credit card was expiring and the bank changed the card number. So I tried to update the card number and at the same time and like you, converted from a three month to a six month subscription. Since it was less than 30 days before that one account expired it let me do it but ONLY if they charged the 6 months right there, so at that point I had 7 months of play time on that account.
When the original 30 day time expired they charged me again for the 3 month subscription of the previous billing program. I filed a petition and took them 4 days to respond, by that time the charge was part of my banks monthly billing cycle so I told the GM to just credit me rather than the refund that was offered.
The GM then converted my second account to the new billing program (I could tell because all CC info was gone and said I paid by PLEX). The problem is my second account has more that 30 days playing time and would not allow me to enter the new CC info unless it is less than 30 days (so they can charge me), but the card will be expired by then. I asked the GM to transfer the new CC info over to my second account but either was unable or unwilling.
So my advice would to not change the subscription interval until the new billing program is completed. My petition was closed but I did not get an e-mail to rate the service, good thing too.

I have been assured that the Billing petition queue has the HIGHEST priority. So what is my petition still sitting there with NO response after 8 days?

Erm...because the billing agent resides in Jita?

If some must know, CCP overcharged me 4 times, when my accounts was paid up for up to 3 months up in advance. It has happened, as I said above, 4 times over the years - until I blocked all charges from CCP and now use GTC to pay for my accounts. It is annoying as hell - and yes, it does happen.

8 days is way too long for a petition that should be given very high priority. File another petition. Although if you closed your credit card, then the issue is pretty much solved isn't it?

Call your bank and request a chargeback? From what I hear, this will actually cause the bank to charge a penalty fee to CCP.

I can't say I have ever had this issue but then again I flat refuse to use CC's to pay for anything over the net because there always ends up being one issue or another that ends up costing me the customer more than it should to do what I am wanting to do & I don't know about anyone else but $$$$$ are hard to come by in my world & just throwing them away seems senseless.
As for customer service, I have noticed when filling petitions for ISK selling spammers it usually takes about 5 - 10 minutes to get an answer, when I have filed different types of petitions they have sometimes taken 5 - 8 days depending on how urgently they need to be dealt with so it is hard to understand why such an important(?) issue is taking so long unless CCP is having a lot of petitions filed for this area of the system (billing/accounts).
The idea of talking to your bank & having them do that chargeback is a good one, but first make sure you have filed the correct type of petition etc as it is very easy to select the wrong type of petition & have it then sit there for ages because it's gone to the wrong place.
Anyway good luck with whatever you do & hopefully it will be all worked out so that everyone walks/flies away happy..

You do realize what a que is ? If your first petition didn't reach the top of the stack, how are you expecting your second petition (note, the one you sent in *after* the first one) to be responded to? _________________ - Rivqua - --- R.E.P.O. --- |

I had a billing petition back in late summer 2007. It took close to 3 weeks for a response. I had to file it as fraud with my bank to get it fixed.
