Dont know why this wasnt implemented when overloading was introduced. Let us overload modules by pressing 'Ctrl+Left Mouse Button Click' on the module icon. I know there are keyboard shortcuts for overloading but they are not really convenient. Aiming at this tiny green bar over the module or fiddling with the right click menu in a combat situation is just a mess.

agreed. in the stress and adrenaline of combat its hard enough to remember to overload, much less actually click the tiny little button on the module without deactivating it (which in the middle of combat is bad news bears) ------------------------------ ------------------------------

Well mostly I just overload an entire rack cause I can't be bothered to click all the small bars but this is not always beneficial of course, so yes to easy overloading.

NO. I'm ****ed of the 'easy mode' eve. If you panic then it's your problem, control yourself, don't act like a schizophrenic fool and you'll discover that overloading modules is not difficult.
We need a more skills-realated combat and i don't mean skill points, but real pilot's skills, not everything can be ruled by the amount of isk you can spend on a ship ffs.

A UI worth the hard-drive space is NOT easy mode Eve, you moron. Making a more intuitive and easier to use UI actually BOOSTS the effect of piloting skills, because then the player can focus on piloting and not pixel-hunting. ----

Easy mode?
A well designed and usable UI has nothing to do with making things easier. Just as putting up with a sub-optimal UI has nothing to do with skill.
Regarding the suggestion, I think it is a good idea.

Hey moron, then tell me, moron, what else you have to do, moron, after you pressed f1..f8 eh moron? See, my dear moron, if you don't panic, moron, then you can have the cold blood to activate the overload, if you panic you can't, moron; that is what i call 'skills': self control, understanding of the fight, if you can't control yourself and panic, you'll find hard to overload (pixel hunting... lol moron) and you deserve to die. Aggreed with topic author - will be nice to fire the overloading by holding CTRL.
2 Zaraki KenpachiSan: hey man - have you ever heard about usabilty of UI? Have you ever seen the ****pit of real plane? It's not so difficult ot understand and use it even if it has about 300 different buttons, turners, lamps and so on. The pilot has to concentrate on flying the boat, not on using the ****pit/UI.
