There are always a dozen giant secure containers,(cans)in belts. There should be a way to attach cans togather. This would allow more players to mine and not have to place their cans scattered around everywhere. If a docking collar would allow multiple cans to be anchored in one area. Cans could then add their volumes togather. This saves time on the mining and the transportation and allows others the chance to put their cans in the area. Anchor skill level would determine the amount of can that can be attached together.

I've always thought that would be a good idea too - to be able to 'honeycomb' a handful of GSC's together into a single larger container. Your idea of your anchoring skill being the basis of how many you could group is a pretty good addition. 3900*5 is 19,500 m3 which is fairly respectable even for a hulk (if you don't have a 2nd account as a dedicated hauler).

How about miners should not be allowed to anchor cans at belts?

In other words, you want anchorable, lockable containers that meet or exceed the capacity of a jetcan.
Not gonna happen.
Regarding "crowded" belts: saturating a belt with GSC's takes a dececent investment for the return provided. If they beat you to all the best anchor spots... good for them, bad for you. If it was fair, it wouldn't be fun.

There are always a dozen bad poster in forums. There should be a way to detach those posters. This would allow more readers to chill and not have to read their stoopid suggestion treads scattered around boards. If a forum QA personal would allow multiple threads to be anchored in one area. Threads could then add their crapness togather. This saves time on the trolling and the flaming and allows others the chance to put their posts in the thread. Forum Warrior skill level would determine the amount of threads that can be attached together.
In conclusion, I think you should vote Larkonis Trassler for CSM.

I'm not taking sides but no one is forcing you to read anything, you can stop reading at any time.
Your time can't be that important if you're spending it reading a forum for a game in the first place.

I'm a relative newbie to mining and just bought my second GSC and will double up in a day or two, so I'm not too sure about the collar idea and here's why.
I know that I cannot anchor my GSC's within 5 km of any 'roid or other can; don't know whether that's only anchored cans or what; never went to check other people's cans .
It would be courteous to space one's GSC's in an arc either above or below the 'roids in any particular belt. This would encourage other miners to do likewise and make things easier all around. I have never experienced a 'roid belt that had something to mine where I couldn't fit in my GSC within the range limits but close enough to make my goal of loads for the day.
In theory, considering the space around the 'roid belts as an arc of points all in the same plane, there are at least six locations around that plane of 'roids which are 5 km from all of the 'roids and - if everyone anchors with their neighbor in mind - 5 km from anyone else's GSC.
I haven't seen a belt yet with so many 'roids in it that the veldspar or scordite or whatever was there could have lasted long enough for enough miners to park their cans around the belt to fill up all those locations. Couple of hours is about all they seem to last. Of course, I'm only in .7 space , so perhaps the belts are thicker with 'roids in lower-sec systems.
Remember the EVE Miners' Rule of 'Roids and Ore: "If it's in your cargo hold, it's yours; otherwise, it's not." Thanks.
