Interesting, but like midget thumbs, killing pirates doesn't necessarily mean you are a pirate.

nope I dont define myself as a pirate, I just love that pirates are in the game... although I think really the real pirates are gone. Nowadays no one ransoms or tells anyone to drop their cargo or anything like that mainly because nothing is worth very much. So I suppose Piracy has become killmailing, at least in current eve gameplay.
Mainly the plummet of T2 prices a few years back, warp to zero, and the general worthlessness of most modules and items in comparison to the price of ships and faction ammunition has made piracy more just something to do, not a career or play style in eve, except possibly for those that RP Pirate... I guess they probably try to act like Pirates...
But to all the pirates out there, thank you, I got bored after warp to zero, but you guys are keeping it alive. And providing me with targets a lot of the time. thanks,
