i hear people say battleships sucks cause u cant hit smaller ships only another BS. i know if im in my raven and im not gonna hit a cruiser with HIGH DPS, ive tried, not that much damage compared to shooting another BS, so basically my question is, what can help me make it hit smaller ships with more damage? could i use a target painter? also will i be able to hit anything bigger? could i use my raven to kill a command ship/drake/battlecruisers... basically whats the cut off point where my damage will decrease on ships? is in below bc's..? than my DPS will decrease? thanks in advance!

One thing you could do is train your Target Navigation Prediction skill, which is the skill that I believe makes it easier to hit smaller / faster targets with missiles.

i guess i could i only have it to lvl 3 right now i guess ill train all my support skills to lvl 5 i guess... more things to train now. i have a evemon plan for 325 days to only get 7mil in engineering and missile launcher oh and 4 mil in drones.. so it looks like im going to have to add lvl 5's now which will take forever..

Drones
Drones are the best defense in most cases, you are in a battleship, designed to hit other big things. Concentrate too much on hitting the small stuff and you lose the ability to destroy the large stuff.
If it is a problem, re-consider ship choice. Bigger doesnt always = Better
