Good morning fellow pod people,
I am trying to nail down exactly how rewards for missions are calculated when you tell the mission-giver that you want to split the reward.
So hypothetically, I have 2 chars. Char 1 has maxed social skills. Char 2 has no social skills.
Do the bonuses go into effect BEFORE the split? (meaning, for example, the total reward is increased by char 1s social skills) or is the reward calculated on a character by character basis.
Basically im trying to figure out whether i need to train social skills on more than one character (if Im only going to be pulling missions on 1 of them).
Thanks for any help.

The reward is calculated using the skills of the mission owner. If you only use one char to pull missions, only max out his social skills.
If ur after the LP as well, don't forget the special connection skills. Every division an agent belongs to is effected by 2 of those skills -> (evelopedia mission guide).

Thank you Si'bala. I was hoping that was the answer but the mission guide doesnt answer the question.
Appreciate your help.

My apologies in advance for this slight hijack...
My question is related, and I didn't figure posting another really similar question was warranted. I am also interested in the answer to the OP's questions as well.
Questions about missioning within a group (fleet). (I did read the evelopedia and couldn't come up with these answers)
1) If I'm not the primary mission taker, and I complete missions within a group, does this count towards my storyline count?
2) In the above scenario, will I gain agent/corp standing?
3) If I tag along with a mission runner who is doing lvl4 missions, and I'm only capable of lvl 1-2, other than the LP, Loot, and Bounties, is there a significant benefit?
In general I guess what I'm trying to get at is, can I 'accelerate' my standings increase by being "fleeted" with folks doing higher level missions?

I did test and notice that when you choose to share rewards that it grants a standing boost to your fleet mates as well. I do not know however if there is some sort of cap / limit to how much you can make that would hinder you from accelerating yourself.

2. yes, it's divided equaly between all fleet members (up to 10), if the owner decides to turn it in that way. the owner can allways choose to turn it in just for himself.
3. your standing will raise quite fast tooward that corp, nice for miners or industrial chars who only need standing (refining fee / R&D agents), saves you quite a lot of money for 'combat' skill books, combat ships and fitting.
If you need faction standing, u have to pull missions by yourself for the storyline counter, but if e.g. u could fly lvl3 missions (based on ur skills and ship) but ur standing is to low, flying a few lvl4 with a buddy can save u a lot of time doing lvl 1 and 2 missions to slowly raise standing -------------------

Thank you!,
That's exactly what I was looking for!
Basically, since Agent Availablity is based on faction standing, there is really no way to 'rush' a character to higher level missions.
However if you're only needing/wanting to gain corp and agent standings, then grouping with a fleet doing higher level missions is a good way to go, plus you get the bonuses of isk, loot, lp, etc...
So, going solo with the courier missions, due to the speed of completion, combined with fleet missioning is a pretty good combination IMO.
Thanks for the feedback!

This here be rubbish... or as a corp mate would say. This statement PHAILS!
Agent availability is based on CORP standings. For example a friend of mine has absolutely zero standing with the amarr empire, but about an 8 ish standing with the Theology council. He can run level fours for them fine.
So running level 4's whilst fleeted is a great way to boost your Corp standings and speed your ascent to the golden throne of carebeardom ;0) |

Actually this statement is also not quiet correct. For a given agent you need either faction or corp or personal standing with said agent. For example, there is a level 3 Q20 agent. You need 5.0 faction or 5.0 corp or 5.0 personal standing with that agent.
Now you can ask how can one have high enough personal standing with an agent and have no standing high enough with his/her corp. It it possible if you run and hand in the mission in a fleet. The other toon (not the one took the mission) will gain personal standing with the agent faster than with the corp of the agent. So his way it is possible to run level 4 missions with a given corp even if someone do not have high enough faction or corp standing with it.
I just did this last week with my alt.
So the standings have the following effects:
Faction standing gives you access to all agents in the given faction (eg. 7.0 Amarr Empire standing lets you access all amarr agents up to level 4 Q20).
Corporation standing gives you access to all agents in the given corporation (eg. 7.0 Amarr Navy standing lets you access all Amarr Navy agents up to level 4 Q20).
Agent standing gives you access to the given agent.

Just a quick question:
How are bounties between fleet members (let's say two) in missions divided? Does the member who laid the final blow get the complete bounty? Or is it divided proportional to the dealt damage (in case both members shoot at the same NPC)? Or is even the complete bounty of the mission divided 50/50%, no matter who killed the rats?

So the one who is in the fleet only get's Corp standings. And no positive faction standing increase.
How about negative faction standings? Say you have a buddy who helps you run Amarr level 4's. Do you get negative standing with Minmatar or Gallente? ---

Only with anti-faction missions (enemies abound ect) and if you are on-grid at the time the faction ships are killed (you could be fleetbosting offgrid, and not get negative faction standings).
