So AirForce One, the US Presidents jumbo jet is flying over NYC for a photo shoot along with a fighter jet flying in formation. Problem is that the majority of people in the city didn't know it was planned thus causing mass panic as many people seemed to think it was going to be a repeat of 9/11. Obama wasn't on the plane and it's said that he didn't know anything about the photo shoot, Mayor of New York also said he didn't know about it either. The only people who were informed prior to the flight was the police "although I think it was probably just a message passed onto them so most officers probably didn't know it was going to happen" and the folks who control the aerospace also were informed. I just don't understand why the hell they wouldn't have the flight mentioned on the local news channels, radio and papers that day. All they have achieved it seems is mass panic, buildings evacuated, people running in the street and high blood pressure for a lot of people . Sad thing is, if they had done it properly then the publicity would have been a damn good message to the extremists who supported 9/11, like saying "you hurt us but we are still standing stronger than ever" type thing. Instead we got news footage and youtube vids of people being terrified, the extremists will be having a good laugh right now. .

Well when it was mentioned on the news Obama was described as being "furious" and I think he will be kicking some butt over what happened, feel quite sorry for him tbh as he must be embarrased aswell as angry over it. .

NYC is still reeling from 9/11 that many people thought the plane that entered the river several months back on an emergancy landing was a 9/11 repeat. Seriously, you have to be stone stupid to not go "hmm, maybe the NYC residents might have an issue with this?" -------------------------------- To borrow a phrase: Players who post are like stars, there are bright ones and those who are dim.

Well they usually have to try and talk the plane down (Onto an airport rather than into a building) and get the presidents authority of something before shooting it down. I'm sure some one will get the sack or a reprimand for it. But I still think it's being over dramatic, since the procedures that are put in place means that unauthorised aircraft are intercepted way before they can get anywhere near Manhattan Island.

A ring of them on all tall outer skysc**rs along the city perimater(like in Mega-City One) along with clusters on the highest flat-top buildings will surely give the residents some peice of mind (along with a piece of lead if anyone did fly into the no fly zone and the guns opened up) hahaha talk about collateral damage, them guns would rip shreads out of the residential districts, that ammo goes a long way (on a balistic arc). Though Ack-Ack with timed detonation would be better and litter the streets with bits of hot falling metal.
