At 22:03 EvE Time today on 4-28-2009 I finally hit 10.00 standings with Amarr. This has been my own "mission" in the making for the past 1.5 years of EvE playing time.
Anyone that grinds missions knows how mind bending and boring they get. Next is Caldari, Ammatar, and Khanid I guess. After that who knows. Anyways ...... I was kinda excited to click on the character tab and see the standings finally hit 10.

congrats. are you flat +10 or +10 effective ?
I HAD +10 to minmatar but lost it somewhere :/
still aiming for -10 to you guys but just cant rack up enough kills.

I am 10.00 flat even. I have never trained the skills that boost your "effective" standings up so it's all mission standings.

 Nope can't go into Gallente or Minnie space as I am KOS with their Navy there due to low faction standings with them.
* Gallente is -9.47
* Minmatar is -8.10

I had 10 corp standing once, then let a mission expire 
working on that -10 to min and gallente, it is too bad that the only real anti min mission is EA 5/5

there should be some bonus thing for hitting 10 to a faction, like a state bs, a unique ship which will then show that you have done something amazing :P :D

Nah. Give the player a medal, which they can display on their character sheet (or on their Avatar, when Ambulation arrives). Or, give them a cool holo.
Heck, even the ability to have their faction logo displayed on their ships, sort of as a ship-fitting option (display Faction Affiliation).
But the State ships ... keep them reserved for live events. Those players who go out of their way and compete and interact in the hosted events should continue to be rewarded with their own unique gifts.

But remember, one failed or declined mission for caldari or khanid will drop your Amarr faction standings back to 9.9.
Even if you really carefull, at some point **** does happend anyway, so there isnt any point to aim for 10.00, especially with all of friendly factions.

Yea I agree .... the State Issue Ships and unique one's should stay like they are. The people that have received them worked hard for them. However .... something would be nice like you suggested for people that have gone through the grid of getting the standings to perfect.
I understand there is no "reason" to get them that high but that is my thing I guess to keep me busy in-game when I don't feel like being in 0.0 for pew pew.

Yep, I have visited them a month or so ago to collect my faction ship bpc's :)They sold nicely on the market.
The tags didn't cost much maybe 10mil for the BS and 10mil for the Frig but I didn't accept the Cruiser offer cause I would have lost isk on the ships from the tags costing so much.

I had 10.0 once on a diffrent character but I lost it due to a stupid mistake of leaving a mission open.

Here is the EvE-Search link to the agents that hand out the Faction BPC's (2 runs) and the tags/standings needed to get them. The thread tells all you need. Just do a "People & Places" search in-game for the agent name and it will tell you the system he is in. They are usually found at the gates leading to other systems.

On a side-note ..... EvE-Search is working on upgrading its hardware and can use all the help (RL donations) it can get. Alot of us use it more than the regular forums since CCP can't seem to get the search button to actually FIND anything.
