Ive been flying a CNR for a while and always been using CCC rigs. I just came back to the game after 6 months of absence though to find that missiles have been nerfed. Now my tank on the CNR has always been more then sufficient, so I was wondering if it might be a good idea to change one or 2 of the riggs for something that icnreases my dmg.
Im not sure though whether it would be better to use a Warhead Calefaction Catalyst, a Warhead Flare Catalyst I or a Warhead Rigor Catalyst I. Or which combination of 2 of thse rigss will benefit me the most doing lvl4 missions.
thx in advance

Use rigors, and fit a PWNAGE if you have room.

This is my current setup:
[Raven Navy Issue, Dual Pithi B] Capacitor Flux Coil II Damage Control II Ballistic Control System II Ballistic Control System II Ballistic Control System II
Pithi B-Type Small Shield Booster Pithi B-Type Small Shield Booster Heat Dissipation Field II Photon Scattering Field II Photon Scattering Field II Heat Dissipation Field II
Cruise Missile Launcher II, Paradise Cruise Missile Cruise Missile Launcher II, Paradise Cruise Missile Cruise Missile Launcher II, Paradise Cruise Missile Cruise Missile Launcher II, Paradise Cruise Missile Cruise Missile Launcher II, Paradise Cruise Missile Cruise Missile Launcher II, Paradise Cruise Missile Cruise Missile Launcher II, Paradise Cruise Missile Small Tractor Beam I
Capacitor Control Circuit I Warhead Rigor Catalyst I Warhead Rigor Catalyst I
Hammerhead II x5
Used to run 3x CCC, now with 2 rigors it takes half the salvos to take out a HAC.

my CNR has 1-anti em - 1 anti-thermal and 1 bay loading accelerator for faster ROF. maybe try 2 BLA and 1 anti shield weather it be EM or thermal or whatever ur lowest dmg type is, and then add 2 invul shields II and u should be good. hope this helps

2x hydraulic bay thrusters, 1x rocket fuel cache partition, for use with torps.

I'm just considering the issue myself. Would two flare rigs be better or two rigors?

As far as I know the best idea would be to fit 2 Rigors/ 1 Flare for max damage on small targets (on a Cruise-CNR), if you got only 2 rig-slots free, 2 Rigors are better than 1 Rigor / 1 Flare. For the resistance I would fit a Anti-Therm-rig, since thermal damage will be there in almost all missions, EM-damage is not
My suggestion would be:
1 * CCC (if you need it for Cap, if not 1 Flare) 2 * Rigor

I fit the following rigs to increase the range since I dropped back to using torps purely for damage. More than 1000 dps sees npc's off pretty damn quick
[Raven Navy Issue, Mission *****]
Rocket Fuel Cache Partition I Hydraulic Bay Thrusters I Capacitor Control Circuit I

Iv'e been toying with the idea of using a Torp fit for some missions myself- if anything just for something different -
Can you post your fit? -- "If itĘs true that our species is alone in the universe, then IĘd have to say that the universe aimed rather low and settled for very little" George Carlin |

Edited by: Gul Rashen on 29/04/2009 08:44:14 Don't forget to say that you need 2 TPs and CN-Torps to get that 1000DPS on the target and that the target have to be BS-Size. Vs. all smaller targets you will still make more damage with CMs. You can use it only for BS-heavy Missions. That was the fitting i used:
[Raven Navy Issue, Gul's Torp] Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System Caldari Navy Ballistic Control System Capacitor Flux Coil II
Pithi B-Type Small Shield Booster Pithi B-Type Small Shield Booster Phased Weapon Navigation Array Generation Extron Caldari Navy Heat Dissipation Field Caldari Navy Photon Scattering Field Med Slot
Siege Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Torpedo Siege Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Torpedo Siege Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Torpedo Siege Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Torpedo Siege Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Torpedo Siege Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Torpedo Siege Missile Launcher II, Caldari Navy Mjolnir Torpedo Small Tractor Beam I
Hydraulic Bay Thrusters I Rocket Fuel Cache Partition I Warhead Flare Catalyst I
Free Slot: Depends on Mission...2.TP/3.Hardener/SBA/Invul/AB
The tank wasn't the best. Since QR I recommend to use CMs on the CNR and if you wanna use Torps go for the Golem. Much better Damage than the Torp-CNR and still enough tank.
