The flames have been about as weak as someone might expect on a board full of Yarrs! So in conclusion... There is no such thing as 1V1 or honor amongst theives. Pirates or those claiming to be pirates, sometimes cry foul when people decide to turn the tables on them. Most importantly, Carebear blobs sometimes grief wanna be pirates. At this time I would like to declare victory on C&P and announce that you can all stop playing Eve because I've officially won the game. Thanks to all who participated.

I find it hillarious when so called "pirates" whine and complain about how blobbing is killing the game, or how logging off is killing the game, or how WTZ is killing the game etc. More often than not these are people who laugh when a carebear whines about getting killed in a manner in which they think is unfair, only to do the exact same thing when they get blobbed/baited etc. IMO There are 2 main views that people who aren't idiots take: 1)Some people play the game with a sense of honour. Might not agree with it but w/e. 2)Honour does not exist in an online video game (my choice). Now most people who follow view 1 who complain on the forums are invariably laughed at. It's accepted as fact that eve is supposed to be lawless in just about every aspect, and people are quick to point that out when a carebear complains. The problem lies with the people in group 2. When someone in group 2 complains (in this case we'll use logging off as an example), they almost always get at least some supporters claiming that the game needs to be changed to stop things like that etc. Person A complains about getting ganked in lowsec in his freighter by person B. Person B then complains the next day, apparently person A has learned to log off after jumping through a gate so as to vanish before dying. Person A and person B are both idiots. Both of them are complaining because the other used a perfectly valid game mechanic to do something the other doesn't like. The argument of bringing more scouts for person A is no different than telling person B to bring more ships to gank person A before he vanishes, and both sides are arguing that the game needs to be changed to better suit their needs. If you're willing to engage a ship with no defences, then you've already accepted that anything within the game mechanics (aside from confirmed exploits) is perfectly valid and complaining because of one of said mechanics hurts your ability to kill people just makes you an idiot and a hypocrite.
