Mystafyre Caldari Malevolent Intentions Dark Solar Empire	Posted - 2009.05.01 08:17:00 - [1] Start of this year was truly interesting, but there is good chance for this year to be the greatest year ever. What do you think about the possible upcoming great war? Will north stay united? How about Russian coalition? What TCF will do? Will KIA fail again? TRI disband yet another time? Will any of the top 10 largest alliances disband? Could GoonSwarm invade Providence? How many titans gets shot down before end of the year? I say that NC breaks up, AAA slowly dies, GoonSwarm scams itself to horrible failure, IRC/ED nap breaks up, all russians merger into one alliance and go lowsec pirating leaving all southern regions, Syndicate becomes NRDS space and Providence civil war starts! It sure was a good dream! Flame on!

Time for a new class of cupercaps: THE DEATHSTAR: Has 8 hi, mid and low slots. 99% resists on all damage types for shield and armor. EHP 100.000.000 shield regen 3 seconds, and can fit 8 doomsday devices of all types. The effective range of the DD is the entire system it is in. Oh: and it has a special Deathstar attribute: 1000% extra damage for DD. CCP will only make one of it, and i get to fly it. There might be a new conflict brewing with over 1k in local sure but for now that's not happening. North United? - Depends on what you mean. RAWR/RZR/TCF sure but the North as such is a breeding ground for smaller alliances that come and leave when they need to take the next step and the NC is not for them anymore. Russian Coalition - This is pretty much split right now. I honestly dunno how much bitterness there is here between the different parties. TCF - Will probably stick with Deklein as their main home but keep kicking ass in other areas of EVE just as the rest of the NC. My general prediction. KEN will realise the futility of attacking Querious and to stop being left behind they'll go to the current power vacuum in Tenerifis/Detorid/Immensea/Feythabolis. This will give them a good regroup and possibility to come back. They'll probably grow back to be an equal of -A- and together with Atlas if they keep up their good stuff could become the next hot thing when it comes to powerblocks. That also gives GS/NC/PL etc. the chance to reset eachother and move forward with our individual agendas. --- "Cutting Edge 4 Life"

It can't be a bad thing, I think everyone is bored of the current stalemate and the imbalance of defensive v offensive warfare. The days of one alliance being able to effectively control more than one region would likely be over, if these changes go through. So i think a lot of it depends on that. This is pretty much the reason why I started talking about the next great war. There isn't much to add to your post. But if the changes would encourage actual presence at the area, it would give chance for smaller entities who has active playerbase to conquer some space easier. Medium sized alliances would benefit from it the most.

Current one is down to far fewer serious participants now. Will north stay united? -- Yes. Northern alliances have historically done a pretty large blanket coalition. The same people who are comfortable with that today will be comfortable with it tomorrow. How about Russian coalition? -- Predict they maintain separate names due to internal friction, but still cross-support a ton like they do today. Basic gist - yup, still around. What TCF will do? -- Remain solid. Their members really don't have other places that will provide the same environment. Will KIA fail again? -- Normally I'd say yes, but oddly KIA seems more stable than they've ever been. They seem to have found more allies and a happy spot. TRI disband yet another time? -- Of course. I think they'll need to reinvent themselves one more time to start over and then find a new groove to be successful in. -- Intrepid Crossing and Ethereal Dawn both might, since they both seem to require territory and have theirs threatened.
