i was just wondering who the best indy corps out there and why

I only heard good stuff so far about Halada's corp (he's kind of an industry-related forum legend if by chance you never heard of him yet), but I'm not exactly sure they even fit the "industrial corp" label since, well, they kind of fight too Not really familiar with any other heavily-industrial corps either so... yeah.
However... how exactly would you measure the "quality" of industrial corps anyway ? ISK made ? Ships built ? Ore amounts mined ? Number of operating lines ? Or what exactly ?

i think they mean more like quality of people in the corp friendliness knowledge and so on

I wonder why CCP doesnt publish ratings of player owned corporations based on either production lines, or amount of goods produced, etc.
of course they should ask the permission first, but if a corp owners agree why not to make such a list.
Moreover i suppose it will be a kind of a benchmark to increase competition.
For instance:
Biggest raven producers
1. Noname corp - 1000 units per month (owners refused to publish corp's name)
2. Buld gurus corp - 900 units per month
etc...

Well quite simple why. See there are Pirates in eve and publishing a rather private information about player corporations will only cause them to get griefed more, and quite frankly I dont want every1 in eve to know how much isk i make a month or how much or what stuff I'm building at the moment :)

Hell, I'd want to know so that I can hire a merc corp to wardec them so that I can at least bump up on the list

And this is the reason Why there will never be a list Published. If Brock here was at the top of the list everyone else would War Dec or Hire Mercs to Dec him, and Disrupt His operation, and in turn it would happen to the next top one, so on and so forth untill the Entire Ship building Industry would be to scared to Announce their name via the list and it would be a waste of time to Publish it. It would end up Looking like this;
1) No name Corp - 20,000 Units of Ships - 80,000 Units of Modules
2) No name Corp - 19,000 Units of Ships - 79,000 Units of Modules
Then who would approach who? It would be a Blind Mess.

I think the best industry is done by private individuals or duos. They may have alts but the corps only have a couple of guys in them.
Of course theres also 0.0 corps with good moons and production branches, but Im dont really consider them indy corps.
