This has obviously brought a lot of emb... ahh, who am I kidding.
If this thing had happened in 0.0, ships would have been lost. Be thankful that you still have your mining battleship. I'm still lubbing my frigate. If you're trying to raise funds by mining in Empire then perhaps you need to change corps. By the way, that tiny stinging that you feel? It's your pride.
Mr Death Ranger sir (or can I call you DR?)- we also have chatlogs and screenshots, but let's not turn this into a media war, m'kay?
L0rd Death? I was going to ignore you, alt. And now I shall.
Edit: Ms Tegral? As a reporter you should know to check the facts and background to the story. M3G4 are a pirate corp. We are an anti-pirate corp. If we'd raided a neutral's mining op, then your bile would have been justified. As it is, it's misdirected. Your kneejerk reaction deserves to be in the Sun or on Fox News, not Eve Guardian.
Omg I knew you were a liberal spinmeister it was that obvious. If this had been 0.0 your corps pathetic ships would have been destroyed and I wouldn't be out money your corp are all cowards you steal my ore in .5 and act tough about it. Spin it however youd like spinmeister it is obvious that you lie. Btw I have chatlog and screenshots too and btw release them please i have nothing to hide i have full proof you are at fault and I ahve been victimized by your discriminating corporation go hunt npcs those are more your pirates.

imo, ore theivery *is* worse than piracy.
Piracy has its place in the game, and is a valuable part of the game. How boring would the game be without evil murderous villians? None at all.
Ore theivery, however, in my view is not acceptable in empire space. In 0.0, if you can pull it off, go for it - 0.0 is free for all. Then again, I have been known to change that above opinion whne seeing battleships strip mining empire space... Which I think is worth than both the two above! --------
FireFoxx80: If you think you can do a better job, go find yourself a datacentre to host a box, get a copy of Visual Studio, and STFU. |

Mildly amusing.
Can't say I agree with what he did, but its not unexpected. Slothe tends to do random things when he's drunk.... and that equates for 99% of his eve time.
MLM are anti-pirate. Slothe saw an opportunity to do something, to a pirate, that would cause a certain amount of "hassle." I suppose it amounts to a type of griefing, but then if you take that view so does piracy in general.
Piracy = Taking others property when they don't want you to, for personal gain.
Simple as.
Well slothe's just doing what they do, I suppose. Just against a pirate. This is still anti-pirate, tbh.
Rumors of my clones death are greatly exaggerated. But I am still INACTIVE

Well since "pirates" are technically at "war" with everybody all the time, and since its certainly fair play to steal ore from a war-enemy, then it seems reasonable to steal a two-bit pirate's ore just to annoy them a bit. After all, what was he going to use the ore for? (probably to build missiles for his suicide kestrel in Yulai or something) ;)
I think people get too upset about ore stealing on the whole and they should accept that a bit of opportunistic theft will occur when you leave valuable things around.
I also have a soft spot for the people that nick the battleship cans from corp wars in empire around the gates ... thats pretty funny too. Definately high risk salvage. (In that their corp may well attract war decs for the deed).
Ultimately though, if you can't protect your property then its not really your property is it? Honourable corps with good reputations can expect other honourable corps to respect their possessions but nere-do-wells and fly-by-nights had better expect the worst (as thats pretty much what they themselves deliver).

Was the ore being mined into a Jet can? If so, then what do you expect? I'm sure someone can sell you some secure cans to mine into.
*Disclaimer* - In no way should this post indicate that the poster knows a thing about mining, nor does she even have the mining skill trained. -

Bull****.
You mine into a "jettisoned" can then nothing inside that can is yours.
Same as if I blow up a ship and it jettisons a can full of l00t.
Whose l00t is it? Mine or the person who jettisoned it.
Look up the word "jettison" in the dictionary. It's an interesting definition.

Nice one Slothe.
Good to see that MLM are expanding their war on all pirate corps to economic fronts as well as simply blowing them into tiny little pieces.
Death Ranger: If you can't see the irony in Slothe's actions then I hold out very little hope for you. From the sounds of it, Slothe doesn't need the money, didn't do it for the money and only did it because you are in a pirate corp - sorry mate but you got exactly what you deserved from an anti-pirate corp. |
