Tomcat Gallente Lone Star Joint Venture Wildly Inappropriate.	Posted - 2009.05.02 11:22:00 - [5] As of 1030hrs on Saturday, terms were negotiated for the full surrender of UFA to WI forces. After a month of back and forth conflict, WI initiated a full scale siege attack on the k25 station system belonging to United Freemen Alliance. The op began around 0500 hrs with nearly 100 WI BS heavy engaging the cyno system jammer. Once the jammer reached incapped status, our capital fleet entered system and began to lay siege to the towers. After the 4th tower was put into RF status, convo's were opened between myself and Spaceman. At this time, as a show of good faith, WI ceased fire on what would have been the 5th tower out of 7 going into RF, and left system. WI accepts the terms agree'd and wishes UFA the best of luck further on. To the WI fleet, your dedication and commitment has once again led us to victory \o/

So, it was a logical choice. As far as the whole "true" alliance stuff, well.. lol take that with a grain of salt. I'm sure people will still call us pets of someone. Doesn't matter. We did it and we enjoyed it.

WI, you must have fought very hard b/c UFA is no pansy alliance. GL in your future UFA and don't get discouraged. Everyone loses sometimes. What determines if you are indeed a good alliance is what you do when you lose. And I for one believe you are a good alliance. This will only make you stronger. Much respect and fly high.

Oh and Most importantly, WI are NC, WOuldn't of mattered how good neighbours we would of been, this was a situation we couldn't get out of due to NC being loyal to NC. Helping KIA and TCF on countless occassions, TCF by us (UFA) securing BWF when they couldn't, KIA by helping them take down countless pos's all over Gem when Lucky League were tower spamming, none of it counted for anything, but then again, I wouldn't expect TCF's nor KIA's loyalties go beyond that of their coalition. Suffice to say, a few KIA members got quite angry when Eddz announces his intention to let WI have Geminate only about 2 hours before the attack, when he apparently had been planning this for weeks, so he played it pretty close to the chest, giving WI as many of us (UFA) to shoot as possible...

Also, this would of been before ED/IRC started their campaign against them. Well I think that Legs did try to get blue standing with everyone that was involved in KIA, But the problem is KIA was blue with everyone in the universe that wasn't a pirate of course. Also I don't believe the entire truth of this matter is being told either. Lets just say we were sold out for a few isk. "To make up for all the capital ships they been loosing to help Goons" I admire you wheels and most of taking a bunch of people to fight against PVPers like Ad astra and kicking their butts. People who were never really train or knew much about pvp. I still remember the day we held our ground in wh- (Our struggle to keep) Jump bridges active. If the leader did make the call for the cyno jammer to go down! (CRY) Well we still manage to cause more damage over all. I hope one day to fly with you again, if not was pleasure knowing you man. Just because im in citizens does not make me a pet, i am no ones pet, as for the killmail, i would have appeared on it twice lol i lost my drake like 3 minutes before or somethin so podded back to eurgrana and dove in the raven for moar pew pew, still cant remember who got eddz corpse :) it was my first fleet fight since starting to play in july last year too, so i will always remember that night listening to Gaiden bladdered shouting out targets so we could avenge horse**** ahhh the memories...

In all honesty the first few engagements I saw against you guys, including a few corp roams down here, we kinda thought you guys didn't know what you were doing, due to the fits we were seeing. Looked more like towards the end you were starting to get your stuff together though. Started seeing some decent t2 gangs towards the end.

We fought RA, Ad Astra, Triumvirate, Varangians, Majesta Empire, The Initiative, xXDeathXx, Morsus Mihi, Solar Fleet, etc. not to mention the random pirate gangs that stray into Geminate. We fought WI while being wardecced by at least 3 mercenary corps at a time, choking our supply points. Not to mention we also still had to fight off the fleets that come to geminate looking to pewpew (which we always gave em, not for political reasons, but for fun). We may not have been solely composed of 2-year old and older players like some of the exclusive older alliances, but we damn did use what we had when we had the chance and had fun doing it. Perhaps that was our failing - our willingness to accept new players into 0.0 unlike the older, more entrenched alliances like WI. We were a young alliance (and thus weaker than the veteran alliances we were taking on, that's a given), virtually unknown to hi-sec people and most everybody but our neighbors and former neighbors. But for sure, UFA Space in geminate was one of the liveliest area for pvpers. There were at least one or two large fleet battles in a week. And look what we get for it. No help from our neighbors at all. The only deterrent (AFAIK) was that WI were not allowed to shoot our POS's early on in the battle, so what did they do? They allied with Ad Astra who did their work for them while they camped our staging area. Finding loopholes in the agreement so to speak. And even that agreement was apparently reneged in the end. Try fighting everybody off at all fronts literally, and all your so-called 'friends' aren't even able to give you intel anymore nor help in any way. Not only that, but try fighting in fleets compromised with at least 1 or 2 spies who know your every move. UFA and V3 were alone, despite what we have done for the denizens of Geminate, not that I blame them, the ties of NC are stronger, but that kinda sucked. I hope it doesn't discourage new 0.0 alliances from forming and challenging the status quo of the major alliances in eve. Because a static political atmosphere composed of standoffs, treaties, and whatnot by all the current massive alliances in existence would be boring as heck. Nevertheless, gf everybody. o7

Which is one of the reasons why I really hate politics when it comes to certain things. But then again, I've been around long enough to see almost every alliance that was in the game when I started playing cease to exist. Or be reborn in some way shape or form. Nothing in EVE is permanent or safe, especially in 0.0. I personally got my trial by fire in the original Phoenix Alliance. There was a time when EVERY alliance in the game was attacking us, either by wardec, camping our 0.0 entrances, or direct attack, and eventually POS warfare. Not many alliances are going to survive those odds. By, shear force of will PA did for close to 3 years.
