The orignal Phoenix alliance of Venal/Tenal/Branch, is very likely the reason why many of the alliances of the NC are fairly tight nit, as well as quite a few of the GBC allainces in the south. When you consider that looking at Razors roster, we find CEI, Quantum Industries, Decadence, and Mythos Corp, all of which were original PA. In MM we have Oberon Inc, and 4S (were in PA for a short while), which were old PA members. In KIA we have BladeRunners, and by extension from the Rona-KIA merged corp KIA Corp, that are old PA corps. We can look and see similar results with GBC alliances like EXE, with 20th Legion, and Romanian Renegades(no longer gbc). Even Goons has BattleStars, another old PA corp. As far as the GNW I don't profess to know what exactly happened between CDI, and EVOL to draw EVOL/RKK/M0o into that war. Though just today I did See that Krullz passed through FDZ, looked at local and was like damnit I was afk when he came though(would of attacked him). So anyway, this iteration can never be a true reincarnation of the original. And should thus die :D.

Sadly Fleet fights have devolved back into last man standing blob fests, or whoever has the better fittings wins, better being a relative term. When ya fight outnumbered all the time, like I got use to, ya learn somethings. Unfortunately I refuse to FC so guess that won't change :))

Thodoros Minmatar Mythos Corp RAZOR Alliance	Posted - 2009.05.05 09:22:00 - [37] I was there on the last days of the PA and it was Mythos corp. that closed the door for the PA and it was a very sad day indeed. For the few months that i was in the PA i saw many things that had been goin wrong for a long time and it was impossible to change with the many enemies that PA had. As for history the last leader of PA was Whimbishi. All the other PA copycats that i see now they look like cheap immitations to my eyes. Anyway good luck on your endeavors.

Yeah, think Presidio was more or less the face of the alliance for a while. Others I remember were Tumadra, Persphanie(sp?), Anihilus, Cochise(few other things I'd like to call him), I'm sure there were more prevalent faces, but some were just before my time and some I just can't remember the names of right now.

TTI, Jericho, CDI..pretty rich history of political infighting and backstabbing up there in Venal heh.

And then there were several incarnations of the Phoenix Alliance. I'm not sure what version they are up to of the PA, but they were a fun group to fight, in all of their incarnations, over the years. Phoenix Alliance itself lasted from beginning of 04 to almost what December 06, though it had lost most of it's core pvp corps by then. Anything that's formed with the name since then I've ignored as being irrelevant. Though Starfly did have the alliance still hanging around on life support for a while since one of his alts was CEO of the holding corp. Thinking of PA the way it was in it's prime also makes me think of the way TWC was when I joined, at times I do miss them both the way they were. BTW I think Whitesands Consortium was partially responsible for Curse allying with us back then. Found out from one of the old directors Petrus before he quit the game that the TWC people that were hanging out down in Querious, Period Basis, Delve area were actually supplying CA (think it was mostly Shinra and Corp1 at that time) corps with ammo and ships during the time when they were attacking Fountain. Noone ever knew we had access to CFS space.
