Hello,
I recently bought an ASUS laptop that houses a Geforce GT 120M video card. I updated the drivers and overall the computer is working great.
I enjoy playing the game in windowed mode. With my desktop, I am able to set the resolution of the game so that it fits perfectly above the start menu (like a maximized window). Unfortunately I only have 2 options with this laptop - 1027x768 or 1366x768. Since my laptop resolution is capped at 1366x768 these choices are very cumbersome since the window overlaps my start menu with either choice.
I would like to advocate, if possible, for CPP to give me and others in my situation more resolution options for laptop video cards in a future update please. If this is not possible due to the current drivers from NVIDIA or otherwise, I would appreciate knowing so. If it's a drivers issue I will request NVIDIA to possibly update their drivers at some point to accommodate more resolutions.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Doug Dread

If you install the nVidia control panel you should be able to enter in any resolution you like. These are just resolution your monitor can natively support as per its factory settings.
The nVidia control panel can trick windows or any game to run in a resolution you would not normally be able to access.
At least that what i have heard you are able to do in the nvidia panel. i dont know since i own a low end ati card. ------------------------------------- Read my bio ingame for tips on how to live and not be called nasty names by me. |

Thanks for the reply.
Yea I noticed the custom resolution on the control panel. Problem is I don't think I can force a single application to go to that resolution, as opposed to changing my entire screen resolution for everything.
I suppose I could increase my resolution to a step higher overall, but I would really prefer the ability to set EVE's resolution to something specific. This is because a) I like my screen resolution as is, and b) Even with my increased resolution, I cannot achieve the maxed window look from EVE, since I cannot just successfully increase my screen resolution one way without skewing the image.
