Ok. To set this up. I have:
Corp A - has 7+ standings with Caldari, has one member, CEO. Corp B - has one member, CEO, with Research skills and scientific networking. Both Corps have offices in high sec system where POS is. Corp B owns several BPOs, all of which are in Corp hangar in highsec office.
So, I did these things in this order:
1. Corp A sets up POS in highsec. Sets up 2 Mobile labs on POS. Fuels/onlines POS. 2. Corp A begins new alliance. 3. Corp B applies and is accepted into alliance. Corp A sets Corp B +10 for giggles.
Now, my problem is, I can start ME jobs as Corp A CEO. I cannot start ME jobs as Corp B CEO (the guy with research skills). The error I get is: "You are not in the corporation that owns this resource." More facts:
- The POS is setup for alliance use. The labs are individually set up for Alliance, Corp, and Standings use (all 3 ME slots are setup this way).
- The ME I'm doing is on a Capital Armor Rep I. Nothing fancy.
- It lets me (Corp B CEO) pick the installation (from Corp A's POS), lets me select the BPO from Corp B office hangar, and when I click go, it starts to give me a quote, and errors out with the above error.
Now, the acceptance of Corp B into the alliance just took efect this downtime, but it SHOULD be effective already.
Very frusterating. Any assistance is most welcome. |

Would have been easier to get Character B into Character A' corporation when the pos was up. Hope you haven't already spent isk on an unneccesary alliance, and of course you can't do copy or invention jobs either.

Indeed, but that means my standings will go to whack. Corp A CEO has 0 standings to anyone, so she can stay in corp. Corp B CEO has some stnadings which means Corp A standings will fluctuate, and if I ever have to relocate or bring the POS down and back up (maybe a wardec, etc), I can't. |

Have you made sure to properly setup the Alliance permissions for POS? i don't know them offhand, but the sticky at the top of the thread contains that information. If everything you describe is true, it would work fine. The only thing you haven't done is describe setting up the POS permissions. |

POS has all tower settings to "Alliance", and under the tab with the permissions, the Tower, and both Labs have Give "Alliance" Take "Alliance".
To go one step further, when you hit Sci and Ind tab, and you get the installations listed, you can click one, and there is a button "Edit Installation" or "Config" or something. It allows you to set the price each one charges, etc. All prices and standings are as default (completely open), and I have Corp, Alliance, and Standings checked.
The only one I haven't checked is "Security" because I thought that meant anyone with a good security rating could use it. I'll check it and try it again.
Thanks for your suggestions. |

Have you tried un-checking all the options on the lab lines?
Some of them are filters instead of being toggle-on options.
Just have one lab set to default, checking them for alliance give / take is pretty minor since alliance members can never take from another corp's POS modules. _______________ <Q> QUANT Hegemony QUANT is rebuilding, EVE-Mail me for recruitment info. Item Database |

Ding, you get a cookie. Holy hell thats misleading. You have to UNCHECK an option that says "ALLOW ALLIANCE USAGE" to get alliance members to use your POS.
That makes NO sense CCP. *frusterated growl*
Thank you Pwett, et. al. |
