Edited by: Dog Howzer on 02/09/2004 16:10:49 Edited by: Dog Howzer on 02/09/2004 16:10:20 From the sticky notes I now understand that the Learning skill only applies to each total attributes and doesn't directly affect the traning time.
So level 1 Learning (+0.02) only helps if your total for an attribute is 50 or greater (Never).
Level 2 (0.04) helps totals over 24 (never with the current code).
Level 3 (0.06) helps (+1) any total over 16. Level 4 (0.08) helps (+1) any total over 12 (+2>24?) Level 5 (0.10) helps (+1) any total over 9 and double helps (+2) for totals over 19.
That seems to make base attributes of 12 the sweet spot (12+5+3=20) for +3 implants.
I this correct?

if you have int 20, lvl 5 learning wil multiplie the 20 with 1.1.
so you get a total of 20x1.1=22.
thats it:)
itsa multiplier, not an addition. ___________________________ "what did that button do??"

Learning 1 and 2 is visible with high ability scores but it's always included in calculation of learning time. So even if you don't see any difference in attributes, Learning 1 and 2 make a difference in learning time. The attributes you see on your CharSheet are just cropped.

The sticky forums suggest that the result value is truncated. So a total attribute of 16 and level 3 (0.06) results in 16.96 but the learning time still uses 16.
Maybe I have it wrong. I did not see any differences in my training times when I first leveled in Learning.

The display is truncated, training times are calculated with the "raw" data (ie. 15.8 instead of 15). -------- -The only real drug problem is scoring real good drugs

Only display in charscreen is truncated.. skill time is calculated with full decimal number.

OK, thanks for the feedback. I read that the value was truncated and didn't understand that the real value was being used.
Thanks, Dog
