As the topic says, I lost standing with my npc corp for destroying my own jetison can. It's listed as a ship kill in the transaction log. I lost -2.2% standing. Is this supposed to happen? Also, does self destructing your pod give you a -12.5% secutity status loss?

Read the log properly. You deestroyed Aliestra's can, not yr own.
