On days that we had planned to mine for minerals for building ammunition, ships, ect that we need in combat he kept saying "Oh, well im playing Doom 3 right now, I cant help." He thus failed the corporation as a whole and when the directors got onto him about it he simply logged off and still offered no assistance. Not helping your corporation is helping the enemy. I'm sort of playing devil's advocate here. ATUK is my ally and I respect m0o, more than almost all other corps, despite being apathetic toward them politically. I do, however, think this whole thread is stupid. In cases of war one should admit everything and apologize for nothing. But, back to the topic at hand. If Curse Alliance postings need no further comment, then why did Riddari comment? Ah, it goes back to the rivalry and back and forth forum fighting that has been going on since Lord Zap declared war on Curse. Nobody is above anyone in that venue, Jade. Raven 4TW! I have a whole different outlook on Eve to most people, I like to login, talk to people, annoy other people, be a general **, and blow someone up, then log off again. But theres still nothing wrong with suckin up a bit of pride and saying sorry. It showes the character of a person... I took a week off from EVE in general to play a game I had been anticipating for years. During that time I only logged in a couple times for a few seconds to check evemail and change skilltraining. During this time VOTF held a large scale corp mining op, which I missed because I was playing another game. Its not like I was logged in and playing and when Xirt said "Ok carebears, time to mine!" I made some excuse and logged off. I came onto TS one night to tell people where I was and why I wasn't around. All I said was I was playing Doom 3 and it was awesome, then disconnected to goto bed. A day or two later I logged in to find myself no long a member of VOTF. I contacted Xirtam to find out what happened, and he told me I didn't mine enough. He said to put in an application and I would be reaccepted if I promised to mine more. I initially agreed, but then began thinking about how lame it was I could be kicked after 3 months of service for missing a single mining op. I decided I would not rejoin VOTF or any other CA corp, but would seek a change in scenery (As blob war style fighting was beginning to bore me). Nemo me impune lacessit
