I didn't like it as much as the first, it was like a bad sitcom trying to make you care about the characters when all you when them to do is be funny.

Loved it. So many little tidbits made it great. Nothing beats, "Let's see what falls off," though.
But I've gotta agree with the Muffin dude. If you could release this with max video settings it would be beyond awesome. It would probably also be several gigs in size. So maybe as a DVD we can buy from the Eve store, or a reputable trading service like eBay?
Can't wait to see Clear Skies 3 with the Trinity engine. At this point there's no choice
Keep up the great work. I foresee many awards in your future.

As far as i know you cant sell clear skies for the primary reason that it is using CCP's and Valves technology without their written consent, and also using a bucket load of songs which would also require loyalties to be paid for.

This is why it would be best to keep the current volunteer creative team and simply add ccp help with access to software and devs to the list of assets JR can draw from. That way they can still keep the great hl2/eve hybrid that makes it unique and most importantly keeps barney in the lead role. But if ccp 'donates' some ambulation textures to map on the beloved crew then all the better for everyone with no lawyers creeping into the process.

If I was making Clear Skies I'd stick the Half Life 2 engine if they make any more, it has more of a soul and besides it's far easier to work with, especially for explosions and stuff.
I think my favourite bit of Clear Skies 2 was when they turned the microwarp drive on.

took 2 days for the dl to complete but it was worth it.
waiting eagerly for their next outing but it would be lovely if they upgraded to a better ship than minnie.

I watched Clear Skies 1 as a 4 part youtube video, shaky but cool. Clear Skies 2 I downloaded as a WMV, greatly improved.
Then I got both parts to my home dvd/stereo setup and turned up the volume. Absolutely awesome. Best TV watched in a long time. 
Part III? I can only hope..
